The ultimate PhotoBooth, wrapped up in 1960s style!
Based in Essex and operating throughout the Essex and EOE area, the PhotoBay is a photo booth company that creates unforgettable wedding memories. Conceptualised in 2017 and newly operating in 2021, we operate out of a 1969 VW campervan that has been painstakingly converted into the ultimate mobile photo booth. This photo booth-on-wheels now works to capture fun-filled memories of your special day while providing an eclectic decoration piece at your reception.
Services Offered
The PhotoBay offers a range of packages to suit the vision of any newlyweds-to-be. All set packages include a consultation in advance of your event, allowing you to collaborate with us to create a bespoke template design. Photo booths are available for up to four-and-a-half hours, with extra time available upon request. Of course a wide range of props will be provided, you just need to bring the party! We can take care of arrangements directly with your venue, and will often visit before your big day to provide a stress-free and seamless experience. Our booths are always accompanied by an attendant throughout the night to help with any printing, hand out extra props, and just generally interact with your guests to make sure they have the best time. For those who have something specific in mind, custom packages are available.

The PhotoPod is not just an off-the-shelf photobooth, it is custom built, by us, designed to produce amazing photo memories for any celebration!
The PhotoPod is not a booth that uses a tablet and an app, it is custom built around the same technology we use in the PhotoBay so it produces stunning photos from it's Canon camera, and still keep the same simple, user friendly and fun photobooth experience.
the PhotoPod also acts as our service guarantee, if the great british weather does it's thing and the PhotoBay can't operate or you think you might not get the most out of it, the PhotoPod will ensure a full and exceptional photobooth experience will still operate!

Fantastic addition!!
The camper itself looked incredible and was such a gorgeous addition to our wedding, but more importantly, Tim was fantastic from start to finish. Everything was so easy, professional and friendly, and our guests absolutely LOVED it!
We’ve got the most amazing memories (and some hilarious photos!) to look back on, and so many of our guests have said how much they enjoyed the photo booth. It really was the perfect way to get everyone involved and having fun.

Tim was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He was so helpful and friendly throughout the booking process, answered all of our questions and made everything feel completely effortless. On the wedding day itself, he was fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. He even made sure our prints were added into our guest book and that our guests had the opportunity to sign it, which was such a lovely touch and something we really appreciated.
The photos themselves came out amazing, and we now have such a wonderful collection of memories from the day that we may not have captured otherwise. It was honestly one of those little additions that made our wedding feel even more personal and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for something a little different from the usual photo booth, I would 100% recommend The PhotoBay. Our guests had so much fun with it, the photos were fantastic, and Tim was an absolute pleasure to deal with. It was worth every penny and I’m so glad we chose to have The PhotoBay as part of our wedding day! 🤍

It was so much fun, from start to finish. As soon as he arrived, in the VW campervan, my guests heads were already turned, asking why there was a campervan here and with telling them it was a photo booth, I could tell they were going to have so much fun!
The props available to have photos with were brilliant and huge variety, the guestbook was incredible and Tim asked us what design we wanted. Extremely professional and a genuinely nice person! You get to have a copy for the guest book and keep a copy for yourself. You get the link to all photos taken on the night as well as airdropping these to yourself if you wanted too. Guests are still telling us how much fun it was.
I would say 10/10 would recommended getting this for your wedding! Thank you Tim for making a part of our wedding amazing!

Tim’s communication was spot-on from start to finish. He gave us plenty of options to choose from, and when we were deciding on a guestbook, he went above and beyond to personalise it to match our wedding theme, which we really appreciated. It added that extra special touch!
The props were fun, and the VW was in perfect condition—spotlessly clean and ready for action. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the booth, with many of them still talking about it to this day. They hadn’t seen anything like it before, and it was a total hit!
On top of that, Tim did an amazing job creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere for everyone, especially on the warm evening. It was a great way for our guests to capture memories, and it really added to the overall vibe of our wedding.
If you want something different, memorable, and fun, we highly recommend The PhotoBay. You won’t be disappointed!
