The ultimate PhotoBooth, wrapped up in 1960s style!
Based in Essex and operating throughout the Essex and EOE area, the PhotoBay is a photo booth company that creates unforgettable wedding memories. Conceptualised in 2017 and newly operating in 2021, we operate out of a 1969 VW campervan that has been painstakingly converted into the ultimate mobile photo booth. This photo booth-on-wheels now works to capture fun-filled memories of your special day while providing an eclectic decoration piece at your reception.
Services Offered
The PhotoBay offers a range of packages to suit the vision of any newlyweds-to-be. All set packages include a consultation in advance of your event, allowing you to collaborate with us to create a bespoke template design. Photo booths are available for up to four-and-a-half hours, with extra time available upon request. Of course a wide range of props will be provided, you just need to bring the party! We can take care of arrangements directly with your venue, and will often visit before your big day to provide a stress-free and seamless experience. Our booths are always accompanied by an attendant throughout the night to help with any printing, hand out extra props, and just generally interact with your guests to make sure they have the best time. For those who have something specific in mind, custom packages are available.

The PhotoPod is not just an off-the-shelf photobooth, it is custom built, by us, designed to produce amazing photo memories for any celebration!
The PhotoPod is not a booth that uses a tablet and an app, it is custom built around the same technology we use in the PhotoBay so it produces stunning photos from it's Canon camera, and still keep the same simple, user friendly and fun photobooth experience.
the PhotoPod also acts as our service guarantee, if the great british weather does it's thing and the PhotoBay can't operate or you think you might not get the most out of it, the PhotoPod will ensure a full and exceptional photobooth experience will still operate!

Wow! What more can we say?!
We hired the show stopper Camper van Photo Booth, and what fun we had! Everyone loved it! Such a lovely interactive way to get your guests up and out, as well as making sure they leave a message in the guest book.
Tim was beyond helpful. During the booking process, he talked us through our options and recommendations. He kept us up to date with previews of our picture borders, and guest book mock up.
On the night, we had nothing but good, fun vibes with Tim! He even managed to catch candid shots of our party when we were lucky enough to catch the northern lights.
I cannot - CANNOT - recommend enough! Thank you again Tim for making our day amazing 💕
What a hit!
The photo booth was a massive hit with everyone at the wedding - I don't recall a single time where there wasn't somebody over there - the massive selection of props also helped!
Highly recommend the pro package to get the guest book and online gallery as well. We had great fun looking through all the photos the next day and also brilliant that not only us, but our guests as well can download any of their pictures from the night!
Honestly cannot thank or recommend Tim enough!!!

BOOKING AND PLANNING
Replies to my many questions were always incredibly quick and thorough, and Tim could not do enough to help us.
Tim created an amazing template for our photos, offering to fit our wedding themes and preferences, matching our font perfectly and giving us lots of options to choose between. We loved the end result.
THE WEDDING DAY
On the day itself Tim turned up with lots of time to spare, and set up with no problems, fitting into the day seamlessly. He was so approachable and friendly to all the guests. Not only does the photo bay act as a photobooth, it also acts as a backdrop for other photos- a fantastic two in one offering! At the end of the day Tim had set aside our photos and popped them into the postbox ready for us to look through in the morning, and what amazing photographs they were- we were in hysterics looking at them. The great range of props available and the atmosphere in the photobooth were definitely captured in all our photos.
POST WEDDING
All photos were sent across to us digitally the next morning- an unbelievably fast turn around time. Not only did we have our photobooth photos, Tim had snapped some extras of us which turned out to be some of my favourites from the day.
IN CONCLUSION
Tim went above and beyond throughout, and I would highly recommend to book the Photobay if you are considering it for your event- We have absolutely no regrets!

Tim has also kept some prints for us and given us a USB stick with all the photos immediately after the wedding together with access to online gallery that we could share with our guests. Highly recommend this addition for any event—it truly made our wedding unforgettable!

Amazing from start to finish!
It was such a talking point with our guests & they loved the photo printouts too, such a lovely memento for them all! We chose to have the add-on of short video clips from our guests too - we had a good laugh at some of the messages from those!
Tim was great with keeping in contact with us through the planning, even designing the print out to perfectly fit our request! He was so professional and friendly, so pleased to have him as one of our vendors! Thank you again Tim!

The Photobay is local to us and recommended so we of course had to go with them!
We loved what Tim had to offer, the photobooth being a screen rather than the massive ones you used to see taking up so much room!
There were plenty of props, a backdrop was offered but we didn’t have that and all the pictures were great! Fab quality and everyone took away their own copy with an online link to the pictures too!
We got to design our layout which was nice and made it feel more personal
Definitely recommend using the Photobay and we probably will again!
