What is included in the wedding package?
1 x 45 minute and 1 x hour set, full professional setup & lighting, sound engineer on the night, use of sound system to play first dance and music during our break
How far in advance should I contact you?
A year in advance is advisable to ensure our availability, however, if we are available on your desired date, we can take bookings up to a week before!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
Absolutely! We can learn your first dance and/or special song for an additional £100 (to cover our rehearsal time)

We are professional musicians with over 14 years experience, and have been together as a band for 12 years, performing at wedding nearly every weekend for the last 5-6 years

Yes, south-West of England, most commonly Cornwall
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, we charge based on mileage, so a bespoke quote would be provided for your specific venue

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?
For our band sets we perform 1 x 45 minute and 1 x hour, with the option to upgrade to more if desired.
For solo & duo sets, we offer 2 x 45 minute sets
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
We arrive 90 minutes before our scheduled start time

Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?
Yes
How do you charge extra time?
For waiting: We charge £20 per hour, per person for every hour extra we are required at the event

We take all payments via bank transfer

Amazing Wedding Band
We cannot recommend The Stones Roots enough, from our initial enquiry and all the assistance Holly gave us to ensure all the details were confirmed to the day itself. Our first dance was performed live and we couldn’t have asked for more, we absolutely loved it. Then both sets brought everyone to the dance floor making our evening that so much more special. The whole band were so lovely and accommodating with getting the set up sorted, leaving us no stress at all. All of our guests were telling us how they’d absolutely loved it and would definitely be looking out for gigs in the future! We definitely can’t wait to get to our next performance to watch live again! If you’re looking for a band on your special day, look no further!

What a fabulous band for a wedding or any other event
I’m father of the bride from Saturday’s wedding at Nancarrow. I just wanted to say thanks for your contribution to a great day. You were superb. A great and varied repertoire and interesting arrangements to segue between numbers. I still can’t quite work out how you create such full and precise sounds from just guitar bass and drums. Great musicianship of course and fabulous vocals part of that. Particularly appreciate the challenges in replicating keyboard tracks (eg Superstitious) on guitar so effectively.
