Down for the Count are a sensational, professional wedding band. Performing together since 2005, we offer a variety of different line-ups to keep you entertained throughout your wedding day.
Our most popular line-up is the award-winning Swing and Soul Band, which has a huge repertoire of music great at getting audiences of all ages up and dancing. With fantastic stage presence, unrivalled performance and excellent sound and lighting equipment, this incredible band will give you a party that your guests talk about for years to come.
We also offer a range of music options for your wedding ceremony - from a classy string quartet to an experienced wedding pianist, able to play virtually any classical or contemporary repertoire.

We offer a huge range of musical entertainment for your wedding reception. We have a sensational, award-winning party band with a large range of repertoire perfect for your party. You can then build a dream wedding package with our fantastic ceremony musicians and afternoon entertainment.
We can provide entertainment for your whole wedding day, from start to finish, with professional and energetic musicians.
We often get booked up 12 months in advance but it's not uncommon for us to take bookings with less than 2 months notice, and with more than 2 years notice.
Our party band performs swing, big band, soul, Motown and pop music. Our smaller line-ups provide classical, jazz, brass band and acoustic music for the wedding ceremony or drinks reception.
Our party band is available in 7- to 14-piece line-ups, but we also provide solo pianists for wedding ceremonies, a string quartet for the drinks reception and much more.

Down for the Count formed in 2005 and has performed at literally hundreds of weddings over the past 12 years.
Yes, we provide our own PA and lighting equipment - although we are also happy to work with a production company if you have one at your wedding.
Yes, we can travel anywhere in the UK and internationally. We can offer the best rates in London and the Home Counties.
We are a team of 22 professional musicians, all of us experienced and passionate about providing top-quality live musical entertainment.
The party band performs two 60 minute sets. The background bands tend to perform two 45 minute sets, although this is flexible - please speak to us when booking to discuss further.
We need between 30 and 90 minutes to set up depending on the size of the band.
We charge per event, with extra charges added after midnight
You can either pay by bank transfer or give us a check on the day.
