Tailoring your wedding specifically to you. This isn’t some run-of-the-mill event DJ, your wedding is supposed to be special to you. We work with you and your partner to curate a playlist unique to your relationship, mixed, blended and cut to perfection with certified dance floor fillers to create a once-in-a-lifetime vibe. From Kisstory to Motown, 80’s soul to House, disco to UK Garage, certified pop & rock bangers to dancehall, afrobeat to hip hop, with everything else in between, we cater specifically to your vibe, expertly mixed by a 15-year club & bar veteran of the industry. OUR PEDIGREE

Jon is a 15-year professional DJ who started on legal radio, taking small bookings for music connoisseurs at boutique venues in London. In the next 15 years, he went on to play a wide range of styles for the biggest brands such as Kisstory & Sintillate, internationally at Soul City Ibiza, hold residencies nationwide for iconic chains such as Libertine by China White, Gatecrasher, Pryzm, Boutique, Revolution, MooMoo, Yates', Apres and independents such as Bambu, Sobar, Alexanders, Mechu, Snobs, Religion, Couture, Piques and many many more. Jon has DJ’d for a list of who’s who acts, such as Nathan Dawe, En Vogue, Fuse ODG, James Hype, Skepta, The Artful Dodger, the cast of Geordie Shore & The Only Way is Essex and has performed in-house for retailers such as Selfridges, Topshop & River Island.

Onset DJs have a full setup to cater to up to 200 guests. High-powered speakers, the latest in DJ technology, a full lighting rig including lasers and up lighters and most importantly, a huge library of music, spanning multiple generations and genres to entertain any crowd.

The Best Wedding DJ 🤍

Jonny was the most perfect choice for our Wedding DJ. His communication from the start, his music knowledge, his ability to understand the couple’s music taste yet still cater for the whole wedding party. He built an amazing set list and knew exactly how to get everyone on the dance floor having the best time! We had so many compliments, with people saying he was the best DJ theyve seen at any wedding. We can’t thank Jonny enough, and recommend him to everyone!

The BEST DJ a bride & groom could hope for

Jon was impeccable from the planning process right through to the guest departure on the wedding day. Attentive, responsive, KILLER MIXES, friendly and just felt like one of the family.
Carl and I are already looking for an excuse for another celebration to have onset djs back to bring all the good vibes to the dancefloor.

The best wedding ever !!

Job was absolutely incredible! Every single one of our guests said it was the best wedding/wedding party they have ever been to! John was so professional yet so fun! He met with us and we spent a great deal of time going in depth creating our story! You can see how much he cares and how much passion he has for this! on the night itself I could barely leave the dancefloor as every single song was an absolute hit! I didn’t want the evening to end! I couldn’t recommend him more!!!

The best DJ we've ever experienced

DJ Jon was one of the highlights of the wedding. One of the best bits of our wedding prep was going through our music tastes to build a playlist. He completed understood our mix of genres and was able to mix and play the right vibe on the night. He's a proper DJ! For example we got Bollywood with Ed Sheeran. Would highly recommend and would love to see perform again.

What a party!

Jon was the DJ for our wedding reception and we gave him the unenviable task of combining pop punk and drum and bass into a cohesive party. This he most certainly did!

We had an amazing time from start to finish from our custom first dance mix to throwing shapes and singing along and I know our guests will remember this one for a while to come!

Extra brownie points for letting our 7 year old channel his Fatboy Slim dreams behind the decks.

Wouldn’t have been the same without him! Made the Party !!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Communication was faultless. Made us feel even more excited about the wedding. He understood the assignment , took the time to send us snippets of playlists , song edits and never made us feel like anything was too much. He delivered beyond expectations. Jon Made Our Wedding 100x More Memorable

Choosing Onset DJ’s for our wedding was by far the best decision made throughout the whole process. Jon was an absolute pleasure to work with right from the start. He met with us & built a unique playlist of 100+ songs of all the artists we love and the type of music we like to listen to. His music knowledge is amazing & from one song he was able to suggest similar songs and artists that we might have forgotten but equally love. From that he then worked to put our dream wedding set together. He knew how to get the whole room up on their feet, and I didn’t stop dancing once. It really was one of the best moments of the entire day. He didn’t stop once throughout the entire set, nor did the vibe ever drop. If you are after a DJ that will get the room dancing & will play all of your favourite music then I can’t recommend Jon enough. I’m so grateful to have had Jon as our wedding DJ & I will remember the party he gave us always. Thanks for everything!

Jonny the best in the business

Jonny is beyond fantastic! From the first time we met Jonny to the night of our wedding he was nothing but amazing. He made his whole set at our wedding completely about us, the music we loved and the vibe we wanted to create on our wedding day which was very much party!! The dance floor was never empty, all our essential songs were played and Jonny worked tirelessly behind the scenes in the months prior to make sure everything was seamless and tailored specifically to us.
We cannot thank Jonny enough and we’re jealous of anyone who is lucky enough to work with this guy on their special day or event in the future.

The dance floor was very rarely empty!

Jon is absolutely great, so friendly and super helpful the whole way through the wedding planning process. We had 2 zoom calls before the day to plan the music and vibe we wanted and this really helped to put my mind at ease. His set on our wedding day was amazing- all our guests were raving about how good he was. The dance floor was very rarely empty!

Our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without you!
Jon was amazing from start to finish. Firstly he took us out for drinks to discuss our playlist and absolutely nailed it! he listened to what we wanted and what we didn't.
Communication was brilliant and very responsive throughout.
We trusted that Jon knew what he was doing and we were so right to do so. Jon created our first dance which was a collaboration of two songs and he absolutely smashed it! it was everything we dreamt of and more.
a few words cant praise Jon enough and the feedback from our guest was " THE BEST DJ EVER" and we totally agree. booking Jon was the best decision we made. We will thank you for a lifetime and we will defiantly be booking again for other events in the future :)

The BEST dj!!!

There isn’t a box big enough to describe what a DJ this is! From start to finish the whole process was stress free, fun and professional! The vibe for your whole day is set the minute you meet him and you are hype for your big day! Jonny is an absolute legend listen to what we wanted a curated the most banging playlist! Our wedding day was perfection large in part to the absolute vibes this guy brought! He also recommended a gorgeous wedding singer to us that also made our day!

Your biggest regret would be not booking this dj for your wedding!! He is phenomenal 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Amazing DJ- Highly recommend!

Jon is a fantastic DJ and made sure the party kept on going all night. We booked Jon after meeting him at a wedding fair at our venue and I’m so glad we did! He made sure he got to know us as a couple, made multiple playlists that we could contribute to to make sure he got the mood right and kept in touch through the whole process even mixing a very special sound file into our day- it was perfect and couldn’t of asked for a better DJ. Overall brilliant performance, elevated our day!

Jon was absolutely spot on from start to finish, the initial conversation we had led to us sitting down over a drink and starting to plan a playlist, throwing all kinds of genres and artists towards Jon allowed him to make the perfect playlist for our big day. Not only was he there early, he knew how to work the group, kept the music flowing and mixed everything perfectly. Would HIGHLY recommend Jon to anyone looking for a DJ for the big day.

We originally were just going to have a speaker and a playlist but I am SO glad I found Jon, absolutely brilliant. He changed our night.

We spoke with Jon about the potential of having a Saxophonist and he pointed us in the direction of a brilliant chap called Elliot. These 2 together are like a match made in heaven, absolutely class.

Truly memorable and different

I’ve never met someone so invested in making our wedding all about us and our guests- nothing is too much to ask of Jonny.

We asked Jonny for a club set rather than your regular wedding DJ, this couldn’t have been more fitting for us, venue and our guests.

Perfect DJ for the perfect day

We hired Jonny as a recommendation from our wedding venue and he did not disappoint.

Firstly, he arranged a meet up for a drink, a chat about us as a couple, where we met, where we went out together and at this point his knowledge of music became obvious. After hearing of the venues that we went to and when we went to them, he immediately started reeling off lists of our favourite music as well as tracks that we love but had forgotten about completely. We added in a few more obscure songs that are special to us and the set was put together. We had access to the playlist on Spotify so we could add anything we had forgotten.

Then the big day arrived. Everything went perfect up to Jonny's arrival, and it didn't stop there. I've never been to a wedding where the dance floor is full for the whole night. Nobody was being pulled up on to the dance floor and it wasn't a coincidence. Jonny told us confidently when we met that he can pull people to the dance floor with music and he did it so well. Everybody had a brilliant time and Jonny played such a huge part in it.

I loved the evening, loved the music and would definitely recommend Jonny in the future.
