Immaculate vibes 💃🏻
From start to finish Jon put us at ease. He responded to our enquiry really quickly and was so personable from the get go. We then met up to curate our playlist which was so much fun. It was almost like Jon could see inside our brains and suggested banger after banger. It was really great having access to our playlist before the day, we would listen to it in the car or in the kitchen and it got us so excited for the day ahead. It made the whole experience really personal and tailored exactly to our needs.
On the actual night, the vibes were immaculate! The dance floor was never empty and I struggled to even leave to go to the toilet as I didn’t want to miss a single tune! Jon carried the night smoothly, professionally and with endless entertainment. He made our night so memorable and we received so many compliments during and after the day on how incredible he was. We can’t thank Jon enough, he was worth every penny. -

From start to finish, our experience with Jon has been flawless!
Finding the perfect DJ was pretty high on our list as we both love being on the dancefloor.
After we first got in touch, Jon invited us to go for drinks to get to know us and start building the perfect playlist for the day. We left the evening with over 100 songs that were a perfect reflection of our very different tastes and were very excited to see how it would all work out on the day.
Fair to say, the evening exceeded all our expectations! Jon was amazing at reading the room and changing the vibe to keep the dancefloor at all times! From old school songs to emo rock, not forgetting French music and DnB, we had the absolute best time and our guests keep telling us how good Jon was and how much fun they had!
Would 100% recommend him if you want to have a proper party! -

Jonny is an incredible DJ and an all-round top guy. His process is very collaborative - he met me and my wife well ahead of the wedding to get to know us as a couple and, crucially, our tastes in music! From there, we built our playlist, which perfectly encapsulated our preferences and helped deliver our brief for the evening. Jonny really understood what we wanted to achieve, which was a huge party with all our nearest and dearest. We had an unbelievable time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him! -

Just the best DJ - Highly recommended
We chose Jon to DJ at our wedding last weekend, and everything from the initial meeting, to the communication in the run up, to the day itself felt absolutely tailored to our needs. Jon was so friendly, accommodating, collaborative and attentive, it was just perfect. He kept the guests on the dancefloor all evening and knew exactly what to play at the right time, we had so many compliments from our friends and families at the wedding about how good he was.
We're both just so happy with how the evening went, and we cannot recommend Jon highly enough. -

When looking for a DJ for our wedding in June, my husband and I struggled. We found that a lot of DJs did not play the type of music that we liked. I then found Onset DJs on Hitched and spoke with Jon who was confident he could create a playlist tailored specifically to us. Following on from our initial videocall, in which Jon told us a bit more about himself and his vast experience playing at clubs and festivals in the West Midlands and beyond, we met up for cocktails and were able to create a playlist that was personal to us. From start to finish, Jon was amazing. His musical knowledge, experience and enthusiasm really put us at ease. On the day, Jon's energy was great and he was able to bring along another acclaimed DJ, Craig Reckless, who was able to play a set during the evening (which was amazing!!). Jon really went all out to make our day special, playing as much of our playlist as possible, adapting the music to the guests that were on the dancefloor and adding his own flair. He even brought his own video camera which captured some really great moments that otherwise would have been missed. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ so thank you Jon! We can't recommend him enough for any events.
