North East Soiree not an agency, they are a team of musicians that offers live music for weddings and events. They provide various options – Violin and Piano duo, String Trio, String Quartet, Jazz trio, Ceilidh band (authentic Scots style with caller), party covers band and DJ, perfect for ceremonies, elegant banquets and parties.

The group, which is managed by Gordon, can play various styles and combinations of styles depending on client needs and have already performed at more than 1400 weddings and events all across the North East of England since 2002.

Services Offered

North East Soiree has an impressive repertoire featuring over 500 tunes for String Quartet which is also available as Violin and Piano or as String Trio, ideal for all budgets and event settings. They offer music for wedding ceremonies, during the photos/drinks reception and the evening band as well... all with just one point of contact.

The Ceilidh band is lead by Gordon who demonstrates every dance and then encourages everyone onto the dancefloor with instructions during the actual dancing. The moves don't need to be perfect, just as long as everyone has a go and joins in the fun. The Ceilidh is a great way to get all parts of the two families, work colleagues and friends all mixing together. A great party starter!

The covers band is totally live and spontaneous with everything performed from memory and no backing tracks. The package also comes with modern disco lights and PA system with PAT Certs for all electric items and have Public Liability Insurance. Custom playlist are welcomed for the DJ after the band finish and of course first and last dances.
