She can guide you on appropriate/popular music choices for different parts of the ceremony, and is also happy to discuss requests.
She is available for your Ceremony, Drinks Reception, or Wedding Breakfast, and offers combination packages. There is no need to have a piano at your chosen venue - Mathilda Jean comes with her own beautiful white electric baby grand piano and can set it up anywhere of your choice, indoors or outdoors.
Mathilda Jean was classically trained at one of the UK's top conservatoires, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and holds herself to the highest standards of performance and professionalism. She is a sought after pianist in Bristol and holds residencies in Browns and The River Grille (The Bristol Hotel).

Wedding Review
From the ceremony through to the drinks reception, she created exactly the right mood at every moment. Her music felt elegant, emotional, and completely in tune with the day without ever being overpowering. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the piano music was and how much it enhanced the experience.
Leading up to the wedding, Mathilda was professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. She was happy to accommodate our song choices and offered helpful suggestions when we weren’t sure what would work best. Everything felt very organised and reassuring.
On the day itself, she blended seamlessly into the background while still elevating everything around her. It genuinely felt like her music tied the whole atmosphere together and made key moments even more memorable.

From the beginning Mathilda was very easy to deal with. Her communication was great and she was even willing and able to learn and play something different for me - Ruelle, I get to love you. Not only did she learn a new song but she also played it alongside the lyrics which is technically very complex. She sent me practice videos and she smashed it. She really is very talented and also very accommodating and was lovely to deal with. On the day, having her there was the icing on the cake. She played as guests arrived and as i walked down the aisle (both ways). Mathilda and her playing added an elegance to the day and it really was worth every single penny - money well spent! Do not hesitate to book her.
