Deep Down Brass is a group of highly professional musicians in Nottingham who aim to provide the perfect soundtrack to your wedding!
We offer a range of services to help you and your guests celebrate:
- Classical Brass performing music for the ceremony.
- Surprise "Love Actually" type moments
- Entertainment during the drinks reception as your photographer does their thing. This can be classical Brass to a solo singer to a roaming brass band, and more!
- Leading the wedding party to the reception venue.
- A carefully arranged number for your first dance.
- A party band with the expertise to get your guests throwing shapes on the dance floor.
We've been privileged to be an integral part of many couple's special days and would love to be a part of yours!

What is included in the wedding package?

How far in advance should I contact you?
We get very busy, especially during peak times such as June, July and August, but you should contact when you can...we will always try to make things work for you!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
Yes! We have an extensive repertoire, but if you have any special requests that we don't already play, our fee includes up to two bespoke arrangements for your special day

We are a group of highly professional musicians who bring our experience of playing at everything from high profile royal events to west end shows to your special day

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, we cover a radius of 150 miles from our base in the East Midlands. We can travel further if required but this depends on engagements either side. Talk to us!
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, we keep our travel costs as low as possible. We usually need 3 cars and charge travel at 35p per mile
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
Yes
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?
We tailor our set times to meet the needs of your day however, our most common set times are:
Afternoon: 2 x 30 minutes or 1 x 60 minute sets
Evening: 2 x 45 minutes or 3 x 30 minute sets
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
We can be good to go within 24 hours if we have the availability, however, we prefer around 6 weeks notice to be able to plan with you to make sure we provide exactly what you would like

Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?
Yes
How do you charge extra time?
For each hour or part thereof we go beyond our agreed time, we would charge £120 which would be payable via invoice
What are the forms of payment?
We take payment via BACS
