C&C Entertainment is a family-run wedding entertainment business based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. It was originally named Midnight Music, and it was set up in 1984 by our founder, Chris Doherty. Throughout the 80s and 90s, he was a mobile DJ for weddings and private and commercial events, travelling up and down the UK. In 1994, he moved abroad to work the clubs in Gran Canaria before eventually moving back to the UK in 1999, where he continued to DJ in Bedfordshire with his daughter Adele.

In 2011, C&C Entertainment was born when Chris and Craig, his son-in-law, joined forces. It has proved very popular in Bedfordshire, building relationships with clients and taking the time to understand their likes and dislikes, tastes, and visions. It interacts with the guests and entertains everyone, making sure there is something for everyone.

Alongside this, Adele, Chris’s daughter, began speaking with clients who were booking, listening to their dreams and visions and bringing them to life. As a small family business, we understand budgets are important, so we work with local suppliers and vendors. We build relationships with them to keep costs low but standards high. We have invested a lot of time finding companies that hold the same values as we do, ensuring your event runs smoothly and is talked about for years to come for all the right reasons.

Sadly, in 2017, Chris passed away. Still, Craig and Adele have carried on the business, keeping it just as it was client-focused, investing in top-spec sound and lighting equipment, and constantly updating our music databases to make sure we have music for all tastes, cultures, and ages. We work with venues and vendors directly, so you don’t have to stress and worry about planning and executing your day and night.
