The company originated from the enthusiastic and aspiring DJ Jordi back in 2017, who at the time was only 12 years old. He has performed in countless venues up & down the counties of Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire. The events he partook in were of an extensive variety, which included the likes of DJ events that were of a multi-cultural background, like Latin parties & Bollywood conventions. Not to mention that he was regularly DJing in school dances (proms), weddings, birthdays, bars & clubs.

His fascination for music and sound grew with his love for people and music, as he spends an undevoted amount of time browsing new tracks, collecting equipment, and providing the best service that he possibly can with his level of expertise.
At Lumi Technical, we are more than just a DJ company that plays music; we go above and beyond to deliver the most professional all-around experience as we can. We are proud to achieve this, as we harness the very latest sound & lighting technology to bring the most impressive results onto the dance floor. In every event, we pride ourselves on tailoring our DJ services to suit every wedding as unique. As we don’t standardise our packages (using the same old boring music and equipment) but we go a step further by asking our couples exactly what they want from their DJ. We ensure that they are happy about our service by making follow-up calls and, where we can, a meeting with them and even an on-site visit to their chosen venue (where we can).

Hi, and welcome to Lumi Technical. My name is Jordi, otherwise known as DJ Jordi. Firstly, I thank you for taking the time to look through my mobile DJ service to cater for your wedding/engagement party or after party.

I had the spark to DJ since the age of 12 years old, since then I have performed in countless venues up and down the Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire counties. I began to DJ in local community events, especially in Bollywood or Bengali style conventions & celebrations. It was funny at the time, as I used to compare myself to other DJ friends who were performing at pubs and small festivals that weren’t of an ethnic background, yet there I was performing at mostly Asian events!
Nonetheless, those events were my stepping stone to getting recognised by a large community. From there, I was able to build a network and venture out into more counties to perform. It was then that I was performing in school dances (proms), quinceañeras, pubs & clubs. This was the case throughout those four years, from when I started. Therefore, the scope of the events that I was performing in was quite vast to say the least, this meant that when I was 16, I specialised in private parties such as birthdays and proms. I found that this helped me to break away from open events with long nights and little sleep to focus more on more intimate gigs that truly made a difference in people’s lives.
Now, come 2025, and the experiences I’ve gathered from DJing early on, being in tough situations, and collecting music and equipment have led me to want to share the same thrilling energy and vibe to make your event the most extraordinary one ever! I am on a mission to be a part of your special day, through the harmony of music and love.
