The Middle Green
The Middle Green is my independent wedding jewellery studio in Swindon, Wiltshire, founded and run by goldsmith Tom McDanielson. From my workshop in Swindon, I create handmade wedding rings, fitted wedding bands, bespoke engagement rings and remodelled heirloom jewellery for couples throughout the UK
Jewellery with a Story
Many of the people who come to me already have jewellery that carries a history. It might be a grandparent's wedding ring, inherited diamonds, or family gold that has sat unworn for years.
Rather than leaving these pieces tucked away, we can often reuse their materials and transform them into jewellery for a new generation. Some couples commission wedding rings using inherited gold, while others ask me to redesign sentimental pieces into something entirely new
The Experience
Every piece is designed and made by me, so from our first conversation through to collecting the finished jewellery, you'll only ever deal with the person making it.
Some couples visit for a face-to-face consultation here in Wiltshire, while others work with me remotely from elsewhere in the UK. Whether you're looking for a fitted wedding band to sit alongside an engagement ring, matching wedding rings, or a bespoke commission, the process is relaxed, collaborative and tailored to you.
Wedding Jewellery & Gifts
Alongside engagement and wedding rings, I also create meaningful gifts for bridesmaids and family members, as well as small pieces to mark the occasion or thank the people who helped make the day happen.
Whether we're melting down sentimental gold, incorporating existing gemstones or starting entirely from scratch, my aim is always the same: to create jewellery with a story behind it, made to be worn, lived with and eventually passed on to somebody special.
