Leah was simply brilliant! From the very start, she just got our vision—even when we weren’t quite sure what we wanted ourselves. She was always available at a moment’s notice, so helpful and reassuring throughout the whole process. On the day, the flowers were absolutely breath-taking and matched the brief perfectly. Longacres provided my dream wedding flowers. From having an initial meeting to understand our requirements they advised on what was in season and what flowers and foliage would work best, as well as helping with the style that we wanted. They were flexible and professional throughout the booking process and in the lead up to the day. The quality of the flowers were great and lasted for over a week after our wedding day. My husband and I knew we wanted real flowers for our wedding, he is a gardener and ruled out any fake flowers straight away. We often use Longacres flowers for celebration gifts for friends and family so decided to pop in for a chat to see if they could do our wedding. The girls were a fantastic help and shared suggestions, they asked us to make a pintrest board of what we liked so they had an idea of what we wanted. We had a couple of visits to talk things through and every time we went we were greeted with happy faces who were just as excited as us to plan the flowers for our big day. We knew we wanted mauve as our wedding colour and took a sample of our invitation along to one of the meetings, we also wanted to honour my husbands South African family who would not be able to attend and the girls made this possible by putting small proteas (SA national flower) in our flowers. We did make a few changes through the planning stage and the team were always really good at communicating any price changes with us.

On the day of the wedding they delivered the grooms party their button holes at our home where they were getting ready and then onto the venue where the brides party were getting ready to set everything up. It was lovely to see a familiar face in Leah who had been on our wedding flower journey with us from the beginning of planning (we planned flowers over a year in advance) and she knew how much we wanted the flowers to have an impact on our day. To see what I and my husband had imagined coming to life was amazing. We got married on the hottest day of the year and all of the flowers were looking amazing and fresh the whole day and even when they were collected two days later they were still immaculate.

Longacres supplied my bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, grooms party buttonholes the mum’s corsages, centre pieces, top table/ alter table flowers, wedding arch flowers (we supplied the copper arch as it worked out cheaper to do so rather that renting one), table plan flowers (we supplied the crates), aisle flowers on the chairs and the flowers pillow for next to our wedding sign.

We had so many lovely comments about the flowers and I would honestly recommend Longacres to anyone.

I had Georgia as my florist and i have nothing but love for her and her team. They are so friendly, easy going and amazing knowledge in what they do!
She recommends the best flowers to suit my budget and style, and the flowers arrived perfect and I can be a little fussy. But there was not 1 thing out of place. From the beginning till the end I have only received the best customer service from Georgia. She is definitely an asset to the company.
