Excellent first dance service!
She taught at a great pace, breaking things down clearly while still keeping the lessons fun and relaxed. By the end of our sessions, we felt genuinely confident and fully prepared for our wedding in Italy. Amazing Wedding Dance Choreographer
for our wedding first dance! She was incredibly friendly and helpful right from the start, making the whole process fun and super easy, even for two total beginners. She came straight to our house for the lessons, and her instructions were always clear, which made the choreography feel effortless. She perfectly tailored the dance to match our ability, and it looked great! We really appreciated her continued support; she videoed us so we could practice later and provided super helpful tips leading right up to the day. She even checked in with us a few times, which was a nice touch. Our dance went so well, and everyone loved it
Emma was fantastic
My husband and I knew we wanted to learn a dance for our first dance but knew it would be challenging as we both have no/little dance experience and previously have struggled to learn dances at other events. Emma was fantastic. She was incredibly responsive to emails and gave us a realistic plan of how we could achieve a beautiful first dance. We are both busy, working professionals so we liked that we could plan our sessions around our work. We met Emma at a studio in Finsbury Park which was very easy for us to get to. She tailored the dance to our abilities and produced dance moves that really worked with our first dance song. Emma supported us and changed moves we struggled with and helped us relax into the dance with ease. We had such fun doing it and the sessions remain one of our favourite memories of our wedding planning. We loved our dance as did all our guests! We would recommend her to anyone who is nervous about their first dance and wants to learn a dance to suit them and their dancing ability.

Amazing First Dance Lessons with Emma – Made Our Wedding Unforgettable!
We had our first dance lessons with Emma for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Emma made us feel comfortable, confident, and excited for our big day.
She took the time and instructed different dance moves and together we three create a routine that felt natural, elegant, and just right for our song. When we struggled with certain moves, she found ways to adjust the choreography so that it felt effortless and fun. She was incredibly patient, breaking down each step in a way that was easy to follow; even recorded the routine at the end so we could practice.
Beyond just learning the steps, the lessons became a special bonding experience for us as a couple. By the time our wedding day arrived, we felt prepared and excited rather than nervous (Husband was excited, I was nervous). Our dance turned out beautifully (there was a mistake here and there but no one noticed), and our guests loved it! We received so many compliments, but most importantly, we truly enjoyed sharing that moment together.

Meet the team
My name is Emma and I'm the founder & director of New Beginnings London. After many years of learning from other wonderful instructors and teaching hundreds of sensational First Dances, I made the bold move to create my own fabulous company. I stepped away from the performing industry and threw myself into creating a Wedding Dance company that caters for everyone.
I trained at the renowed Urdang Academy in London and have been fortunate to travel the world with my career. I have over 10 years of professional dance experience and I'm also a fully qualified yoga and fitness instructor. I pride myself in creating a nurturing and fun atmosphere during my lessons. I am extremely passionate about what I do and would be absolutely thrilled to be a small part of your special day!
I trained at The Bodywork Company Dance Studios in Cambridge, where I earned a Professional Diploma in Musical Theatre. Alongside my performing career, I have been teaching in London for over 12 years and I have a real love for choreography.
I ensures my couples feel comfortable, confident, and most importantly enjoy the experience. Teaching under the NBL method, my lessons are always tailored to create a memorable First Dance that reflects each couple’s unique story and exceeds their expectations.
