We wanted something quite simple and not too over the top. Emma was able to match exactly our request and create a dance which is one of our favourite moments to watch back from the day. Would highly recommend! Especially if you’re a bit nervous about the moment and being in the spotlight! We couldn’t have asked for a better first dance teacher than Emma. From the very beginning, she was incredibly professional, patient, and accommodating to our different experience levels. I had prior dance experience but my partner did not have any. Emma supported both of us perfectly, making sure each of us felt comfortable, confident, and included every step of the way.
She taught at a great pace, breaking things down clearly while still keeping the lessons fun and relaxed. By the end of our sessions, we felt genuinely confident and fully prepared for our wedding in Italy. Emma has a wonderful way of bringing out the best in both partners, and she made the whole process such a positive and memorable experience. She was very patient, encouraging, and fun to work with. We absolutely loved working with Emma from New Beginnings London
for our wedding first dance! She was incredibly friendly and helpful right from the start, making the whole process fun and super easy, even for two total beginners. She came straight to our house for the lessons, and her instructions were always clear, which made the choreography feel effortless. She perfectly tailored the dance to match our ability, and it looked great! We really appreciated her continued support; she videoed us so we could practice later and provided super helpful tips leading right up to the day. Emma was fantastic!
My husband and I knew we wanted to learn a dance for our first dance but knew it would be challenging as we both have no/little dance experience and previously have struggled to learn dances at other events. Emma was fantastic. She was incredibly responsive to emails and gave us a realistic plan of how we could achieve a beautiful first dance. We are both busy, working professionals so we liked that we could plan our sessions around our work. We met Emma at a studio in Finsbury Park which was very easy for us to get to. She tailored the dance to our abilities and produced dance moves that really worked with our first dance song. Emma supported us and changed moves we struggled with and helped us relax into the dance with ease. We had such fun doing it and the sessions remain one of our favourite memories of our wedding planning. We loved our dance as did all our guests! We would recommend her to anyone who is nervous about their first dance and wants to learn a dance to suit them and their dancing ability.New Beginnings London - Private Wedding First Dance Lessons's reply:

Could not recommend more!
Emma is incredible! She took us from complete novices to performing a 3-4min routine to ABBA - Voulez-Vous! She has the most wonderful energy and brings it into every practice session which made us feel comfortable and confident that we would succeed! She was flexible with timings and locations and we had great fun practicing in our local park with her. Emma is kind and friendly and put us at ease straight away. She is patient and helpful, and gave my husband and me something to cherish forever. Learning a 1.5 minute routine in a couple of Friday evenings was beyond my expectations (as we really could not dance), and we can’t thank Emma enough. If you’re thinking about doing a dance for your wedding, do it, Emma is the perfect person for the job! Thank you so much for our dance lessons, you were so speedy in coming back to me to arrange our sessions. We had the 3 session package and that was enough to feel well practiced and confident in our dancing. Thank you also for all of your practical tips ahead of the big day.
