Louise was amazing from our very first email, all the way through to after the ceremony itself. We were a little unsure about the logistics of a celebrant led ceremony, but after discussing all the pros and cons, we were convinced a celebrant led ceremony was perfect for us.

Louise organised an initial in person meeting close to our home, and we were able to bring our then 6 month old puppy along. During this meeting Louise got to know us and asked us about our love story, how we met, and our interests both shared and individually.

After this initial meeting, Louise scheduled regular video calls to go over ceremony drafts, talk about any more ideas we had for our ceremony, and check in on us with our legal ceremony booking. When Louise arrived on our wedding day, she helped to settle any nerves by going through the order of the ceremony and speaking to our guests who had special roles to play during the ceremony.

Our ceremony included so many personal touches that we wouldn't have been able to do with a traditional registrar ceremony. We included a memory candle lighting for guests who had sadly passed. Louise helped to facilitate our witness lottery idea, something all our guests loved to take part in! Finally the handfasting section of the ceremony was so special, and our ribbons are now something which we can display in our home and cherish forever.

Louise - From start to finish we had an incredible experience, from the first contact to the last. In the first meeting you made us feel so at ease. Your personality and attitude towards making our day unique to us was inspiring. How much information you gathered in the first meeting was astounding so thank you so much. Thereafter any email or question we had was answered almost immediately no matter when. Your delivery on the day was so composed, light hearted and loving. You included not just us two but the whole family on a personal level. Previously, you had helped us (a lot) with the Ceremony order, vows, historical events of the family, funny moments were really funny and the moments that mentioned lost loved ones were filled with love and respect. All this whilst being attacked by a wasp! Let us not forget for a moment that we also had a rather complex handfasting ceremony involving many family members including the ring warming. You organised and dealt with this with such skill and love it was almost one of the most serene moments of family bonding. We really did feel like our two families were coming together, not just the two of us.

After researching local celebrants and some wonderful reviews we found Louise from The Ceremony Company. From our initial meeting with Louise, we felt at ease and less anxious about having our wedding at our home. She had lots of advise on every aspect of our day, which we found so helpful. Louise's friendly calm and professional manner shone throughout the ceremony, even when things didn't go without a hitch, she held everything together and was such a delight. We would recommend Louise in a heartbeat.

We could not recommend Louise more. From our very first meeting, she went out of her way to travel to meet us and discuss everything, answering any and all questions we might have. Throughout the entire process, Louise was so reasurring when it came to anything to do with the day itself. Anything we weren't sure about, she either explained it clearly to us, or told us not to worry about it, reminding us that we weren't the first and we certainly wouldn't be the last!

On the day, I lost count of how many people came up to us after the ceremony and asked about where we found Louise, because she was so natural and personable that most people assumed we had known her for years. I know from my own perspective as the groom, it was very comforting having her not just at the top of the aisle with me, but around me for the morning itself, knowing that if anything went drastically wrong, she would be ready to help fix it.

When it came to the ceremony, Louise's vast experience helped us to shape it to match our personalities perfectly, and she thought of several things that we hadn't even considered ourselves, and looking back the day wouldn't have been the same without them.
