We opted to have a celebrant at our wedding because we wanted a personal and relaxed ceremony and that’s exactly what we got with Charlotte.
Charlotte took the time to get to know us, visiting us at home, talking to our family and before long it felt like she’d known us forever.

On the day, Charlotte came to see me while I was getting ready, her warmth and humour completely put me at ease. She arrived early at the venue to make sure everything was set up and she worked beforehand with the venue, even coming to visit the venue with us, to make sure everything ran smoothly.

She delivered such beautiful words which incorporated a mix of humour and sentimentality and made our ceremony feel like ‘us’ rather than prescriptive.

We cannot recommend Charlotte highly enough — she went above and beyond in every single way to make our ceremony the most personal, perfect reflection of us.

From the very start, she took the time to get to know us properly: making home visits, speaking at length with both us and our family members, visiting our venue in advance, and working closely with our wedding planner to ensure everything aligned exactly as we hoped. She beautifully incorporated our children into the day, and even researched and included special traditional rituals from South Africa, where we got engaged — touches that meant the absolute world to us.

Charlotte has such a warm, natural way about her. She struck the perfect balance between heartfelt sincerity and lovely humour, making everyone feel completely at ease. The ceremony flowed so beautifully, and never once felt stiff or scripted like a standard registrar service — it felt entirely ours.

She arrived early, gave clear, calm instructions, and even stayed afterwards to celebrate with us! All this while working through unprecedented 35°C heat — and not once did she mention it or complain. We’ve had so many guests tell us how fantastic she was, and we couldn’t agree more.

We feel so honoured to have had Charlotte be part of the most special day of our lives. If you want a ceremony that feels truly personal, memorable, and full of heart — she is the one you need!

We had Charlotte as our celebrant on 31st May 2026, and the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic.

The planning meetings and interviews were so relaxed. Charlotte genuinely wanted to get to know us and our love story, ensuring the ceremony felt as personal and meaningful as possible.

We asked for beautiful words with a touch of humour and fun... and WOW, she delivered that and so much more than we ever expected! It was so clever, witty, funny, emotional, and we didn't want it to end. Our wedding was Musical Theatre themed and she incorporated this into the ceremony perfectly.

So many of our guests told us they'd never attended a ceremony that felt so personal, engaging, and fun. Lots of the men commented that normally the ceremony is boring, but not ours!

Where to start?! From the moment I reached out to Charlotte to our farewell on the wedding day, Charlotte has been, kind, attentive, so funny and enthusiastic.
During our initial meeting, Charlotte really dug into our love story to find all the little details that make our relationship what it is. With this, she created a script that has us in tears and hysterics.
Now, on to the wedding day, I cannot even tell you how many people were blown away by the ceremony. Charlotte was incredibly funny, her story telling was on point, everyone was laughing! She told our love story beautifully and incorporated facts about our venue and also set our story around the year we met (2012 olympics).
