Hi, I’m Tríona.
Originally from Ireland (dia dhuit!), I am an Independent Celebrant based in Richmond upon Thames. I write, curate and officiate timeless, yet warm and personal ceremonies, beautifully written and wrapped up in your style and personality entirely.
I pride myself in creating a warm, welcoming and relaxed ceremony sprinkled with the perfect balance of lighthearted humour, emotion and elegance.
A former chartered accountant, yoga teacher, celebrant and mother ( to William and Lily), I am professional yet empathetic, organised, well used to public speaking and on hand to keep you calm and relaxed with a touch of yoga should you wish!
When I work with couples and families, I love listening and taking the time to really get to know you and understand your personal story. By the time I deliver your ceremony, I would like to think that it feels like a friend has married you.
So, if you are looking for a young (I would like to think so!) modern celebrant with an Irish sense of humour, you may have found your match.

Hugely recommended!
Tríona set our expectations for what would be required of us to build the script for the ceremony as well as a timeline for what we would need to take leading into the wedding day.
We felt in such safe hands, not just in being able to trust her expertise, but also with trusting her to tell our story and present it to the attendees of the wedding. She took the time to get to know us and genuinely cared about how the day went. Tríona suggested the handfasting ceremony and it created such a wonderful memory of the day, along with all the chat and excitement with all of our 'ribbon bearers' beforehand.
I recommend Tríona wholeheartedly. The script was fun but sincere, full of love, but not schmaltzy which considering the event is a hard thing not to do! Everyone commented on how perfect she was.
