This family-run business includes professionally trained chefs who are inspired by seasonal menus and locally-sourced dishes. While operating out of Surrey, this team serves weddings and other milestone events throughout Hampshire and West Sussex.

Cuisine

All of Tandem Catering Godalming’s menus are based on the seasons using fresh ingredients from local producers when possible. When creating their menus, this team is flexible so that couples can add make sure that their favourite dishes are included. Through consultations, these caterers will produce a bespoke menu that ensures that couples and their guests’ expectations are just met but exceeded.

Services Offered

On the day of your wedding, this catering team will deliver your chosen cuisine and get ready for a smooth service. Your dishes can be represented in several ways including a formal sit-down dining experience. Professional servers can tend to the needs of every table and deliver food directly to all of your loved ones. What’s more, this team’s bar staff can also be on-hand to complement your dishes with thirst-quenching wine, beer cocktails, and much more.

“Best wedding food I’ve ever had”

Tandem catered our wedding last weekend at Gate Street Barn and we are so thrilled to have chosen them for our big day! The food was absolutely exceptional and we've since had so many of our guests tell us it was '...the best wedding food I've ever had' which we couldn't agree with more! Our chicken main was a particular crowd pleaser and the canapés were fantastic, we had so many! We knew we were in such great hands from our first meeting to the tasting and then the big day itself. Carole and Tom were so flexible with our menu choices and quantities for the cheeseboard, which was also fantastic! The waiting staff were really great and so lovely. They switched up the room from ceremony to wedding breakfast so seamlessly and the tables looked incredible. We couldn't recommend Tandem Catering more highly!

The perfect day!

Tandem Catering were absolutely brilliant!

The food was so delicious, I still have guests raving about it!

They catered to so many different dietary restrictions and made the whole day run so smoothly.

They also served drinks for the canapes as well as keeping everyone's glasses topped up throughout the breakfast.

They kept on top of any last minute changes to guest numbers I had, which took away a lot of stress.

Such a friendly group of people, I couldn't recommend them more.

Catering of excellence

We hired Tandem to cater for our wedding and from the beginning we knew we had made the correct choice. Tom and Carole are brilliant with their communication and from the start everything went seamlessly, the tester at their base was a great time to test the food but also to go over the plan for the wedding and some last minute questions. The food at the tester was brilliant and only raised the question if they could match it with multiple dishes at the wedding, we were not let down. We had the Creamy mushrooms for starters, Roast Chicken for main and their signature Chocolate Brownie dish for the dessert and they were all brilliant. Evening food was simple bacon butties but they were again really nice with thick slices of bacon in a really nice roll. Their handling on the day of front of house was equal to their food, frankly I don't think we could have been happier with anyone else. Full marks easy across the board. All we can do is thank them for catering our wedding.

Amazing food and drinks

Tandem catered our wedding. Carole was professional throughout, making sure she answered any queries throughout the process. The menu options are brilliant and her team worked so hard on the day and made transitions effortlessly. The food and drinks were perfect on the day. Can’t thank the team enough. Definitely would recommend.

Everything you'd want in a wedding catering company!

Thank you Tom, Carole & Team - We are so pleased we chose Tandem to cater our wedding at Gate Street Barn. Carole & her team are an absolute delight to work with - The tasting was absolutely sensational at her beautiful site - and she gave some fantastic recommendations on decisions for a July wedding. We had compliments that the staff were so attentive yet you wouldn't know they are there as they work so swiftly on the wedding day to turn things around from ceremony to dinner, to evening. We got multiple quotes; and Tandem came out on top. I appreciated how transparent their prices were - which were fair for the divine food, and outstanding service start-to-end. Perfect wedding catering

We used Tandem for our wedding in March and were so impressed with Carole and the team. Not only did they nail our canape requests, they helped serve the ice lollies we provided and ensured guests were well fed and watered. The entire team were so attentive and even made sure we were the first people to have the canapes as the bride and groom. Fantastic team, delicious food and wonderful service. What more can you ask for for your special day.

We would just like to thank Tandem for making our wedding run so smoothly & for producing such tasty food for us & our guests! We cannot recommend them highly enough - they were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Carole & all her staff were so well organised on the day & nothing was too much trouble. Our guests commented on how good the food was & really appreciated being able to have other drinks from our bar during the meal too. Everything went so perfectly & we cannot thank you enough! Highly Recommended

'Thank you so much! We are so grateful for everything you did to make our wedding day as perfect as it was. Thank you for the constant emails back and forth, the many changes and personalisations to our menu and the extra tasting sessions. As you soon found out, not only are we foodies, we are also vegetarian and have a taste for Asian flavours! It meant so much to us and made our wedding that you were able and willing to meet the many demands that we had! Everyone has since told us that they thought the food was the most imaginative and delicious they have ever had at a wedding! Cannot recommend highly enough

thank you ever so much for the amazing job that you, your son and the rest of your staff did on our wedding day. The whole day is still a bit of a blur and to a certain extent I think we’re still processing it!
People loved the quirkiness and theatre of guests carving at the table and thought it really suited our wedding and was a great way to bring groups together.
Thank you also for the extra lengths you took reproducing Mum’s cake. It was spot on and was a great subtle way of including Mum in our day
If we ever need an event catered we wouldn’t hesitate to get in contact and we’d definitely recommend you to friends.

Highly Recommended

We absolutely loved all the food from canapés to evening food...and judging by all the messages we’ve received so did the guests!
