Saffron made my wedding!

Our venue provided two choice suppliers. Saffron was our choice hands down from the first call we had. Professional, understanding and immediately built a relationship. The tasting was amazing and Gareth helped us through our options, a very good ranged menu but open to changes. I always go by feedback of others, and our guests were bowled over on the day - the canapes stood out and the meal was perfection. Planning in the weeks prior was consistent in terms of handover to the events team, communication about changes and the Saffron team were extremely accommodating. They also did the cake for us which was just stunning. To give anyone an insight on how much trust we had in Saffron, the first time we saw the cake was after the starters! On the day the waiting staff were professional, attentive and worked well with the venue organisers. Gareth, Dawn, Angie set a high standard and hit it if not exceed. Well done team and thank you! Amazing caterer!

Dawn and Gareth were amazing in their menu suggestions and helping with coordinating the catering and drinks for the day. We had gone for a tasting menu with Saffron Caterers beforehand and were thoroughly impressed with how delicious the food was. They have a big range from traditional British food to oriental to middle eastern cuisine. We highly recommend them for anyone looking to hold an event! Thank you Saffron Caterers for helping to make our day so special!

A Neurospicy Friendly Wedding

Very accomodating and unlike other outlets listened to what food we had in mind whilst offering advice. The food was very tasty especially the scones during the canepes and every guest agreed how friendly the menu was to neurodivergent people given most of our guests were neuro. Even in the morning upon setting up, they went the extra mile to place the name cards we had allocated for our seating plan which saved us some time whilst prepping for the ceremony.

Angie our catering manager was very friendly, and again came up with ideas that would help make things smoother on the day and made sure we had time to eat whilst running about.

Would highly recommend and thanks again for making our wedding a memorable one.

Best wedding caterers in the uk

Where do I begin with Saffron? Truly the most incredible catering we have ever had at a wedding (and we have been to so many)! Every guest who wrote and spoke to us after the event made mention of the incredible food - it really was utterly delicious and so beautifully laid out. Our tasting was so brilliant and Gareth hit the nail on the head with exactly what we wanted to have - particularly the slow cooked lamb, which was mind blowing… he hit the ball out the park. Professional from the very get go and so kind and wonderful, we cannot recommend their services more. All the staff helping out were utterly brilliant too and were so all on the ball with topping up wine and clearing and serving. Wish we could repeat this day and wish we could have our wedding meal everyday, too. A truly brilliant family run company who specialises in making every event that much more special and memorable - don’t think twice about booking. Thank you, wonderful team - you made our day so brilliant.

Amazing food and the best people on the day!

We couldn’t have been happier with our experience of having Saffron catering for our wedding. The team were so flexible in finding a menu that worked for us and so open to doing things a little bit differently to make it perfect for us. Dawn was super responsive and always very happy to help. We loved meeting Gareth on the tasting and loved his food even more (and have also had so many compliments since from our guests!) Angie was then the absolute perfect addition to our day and to our prep beforehand. We always loved chatting to her about the plans and felt like we were in such safe hands. She was so dedicated to knowing every detail and made the prep a lot more enjoyable! The day ran absolutely seamlessly and she brought an amazing energy, warmth and passion. The whole team were so happy to help and were so attentive to anything anyone needed. We felt like we had a real VIP service and having Angie and Gareth come and find us on the dancefloor to say goodbye was also a really nice touch! Honestly couldn’t imagine the day without Saffron being part of it. They are simply amazing and you won’t regret choosing them!

Exactly what we wanted

From start to finish Saffron were excellent and on our wedding day the food was fantastic!!
Dawn and Gareth was great to deal with throughout and made our planning so easy

A fantastic all round package

Saffron were delightfully friendly from the outset and we had a brilliant tasting evening. The planning was meticulous and they took everything we asked for into account. They produced a wonderful wedding day and didn’t have to worry about logistics while we were there. Would highly recommend.

AMAZING Caterers that made our special day even more special!

We had Saffron Caterers for our wedding and they were absolutely incredible from start to finish. Gareth (the chef) created the most amazing menu - he adapted the dishes beautifully to reflect my wife’s Sri Lankan heritage, with highlights like the Monkfish Curry and Spiced Butterfly Leg of Lamb that our guests are still talking about! Dawn managed the whole process seamlessly, making everything feel effortless, and Angie, our Event lead, was such a joy to work with! So organised, upbeat, and so much fun on the day of the wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better team. Thank you, Saffron, for making our day so special

The most amazing and flexible catering staff who create amazing food for the perfect occasion.

We honestly can’t thank you enough for everything you did to make the catering on our wedding day so seamless. The whole experience ran flawlessly, and we truly relaxed knowing it was all in such capable hands. Your calm, kind, and reassuring presence throughout made all the difference and both sets of parents were seriously impressed, which says it all!

From our very first interaction with Saffron, we’ve been so pleased; professional, warm, and attentive at every stage. We’ve had so many compliments on the food – the lamb, the duck bonbons, and the pavlovas were standout favourites! Our guests felt so well looked after, and the service was impeccable. A special thank you for the moment Graham asked if my mum could have a dairy-free pavlova and within minutes, one appeared! It was such a small ask, but handled so quickly and graciously. That moment summed up the flawless service from your whole team.

Thank you again for everything. We’re truly grateful, and would recommend Saffron to anyone. We hope we’ll find an excuse to work with you again in the future!

Garden Wedding

Saffron Caterers were one of the very first suppliers we booked for our garden wedding, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Hosting the celebration in the groom’s parents’ back garden meant we had some unique challenges and only a rough idea of how the day might come together. From our very first conversation with Dawn, everything started to feel clearer and more manageable. She guided us through what was possible, suggested creative solutions, and always kept our budget and venue limitations in mind.

On the day itself, Dawn and her team were incredible. They arrived promptly, seamlessly set up in an unfamiliar space, and created the most delicious food that our guests are still talking about! Beyond just the catering, Dawn made sure the wedding breakfast looked beautiful, paying attention to all the little details we had discussed in the lead-up.

We couldn’t have asked for a more professional, supportive, and talented team. Dawn and Saffron Caterers not only delivered amazing food but also helped make our day run smoothly and feel truly special. We are so grateful for their hard work and care in bringing everything together.

Just Incredible

Not really sure how to articulate just how good Saffron are... simply perfect. From the minute we contacted them through the tasting session (this was amazing), choosing the menu, discussing the finer details, and the day itself, everything was handled incredibly well. We had a meat and vegan menu, both of which were sensational, and Saffron also provided evening food that was tailored exactly the way we wanted it. Nothing to fault, highly recommend!

Excellent service and really good food

In terms of the planning, Gareth, Dawn and Angie were really accommodating and very organised. They made sure we were absolutely happy with all of the food options we selected, and had no hesitation in making the necessary arrangements where we had specific requests.

On the day, Angie was a really reassuring presence. She and her team looked after us and our guests so well, and set everything up beautifully. We got particular compliments on the standard of service and the quality of the canapés (especially the pork belly bites!).

Fantastic caterers!
