Is a complete fraudster he has been stealing money from THE FLAG PUB IN WIVENHOE, and
black jacket events for years!
He has hidden all this from his “business partner” keeping him in the dark refusing to show any
accounts or paper work, build cost of the pub , wages and costs which spiralled out of control the
main building contractor was billys best friend, Billy has been hiding all accounts and making up
private bank accounts to hide the money. As well as altering his name and creating new
companies to attempt to cover his tracks.
He done the same with black jacket events and his 12 other companies.
This is why they THE FLAG has closed and now in the process of being repossessed due to billy
not paying the lenders, builders and suppliers but taking the money for himself.
The pub was always busy and thriving as we all could see as was the hotel as well as the wedding
business and the priory events.
Billy never paid the Invoices to the builders who renovated the pub as well as the subcontractors
who were protesting outside a few weeks ago. Billy has refused to pay the invoices for the
furnishings and kitchen goods paid for by his business partner as he was siphoning the money to
himself to feed his lifestyle.
William exaggerated the cost on the build whilst building property on the side to fund his lavish
lifestyle of holidays to Dubai kids in private school this has been going on for years, whilst his
business partner was left in huge Debts and about to lose his house! he encouraged his partner to
get personal loans and credit cards to help the flag run NONE OF WHICH HAS ever been repaid.
William never paid the head chef ADEL for the years he worked at the flag building the reputation
for amazing food leaving him in huge personal debts promising him payment but nothing ever
came through.
ALL THE CASH FROM THE PUB WAS TAKEN over £70000 in the first year never paid in the bank.

He also did the same at black jacket events the wedding business the company ran for years and
never made a “profit” again the share holder adel encouraging investment of over £30000 into his
company then stealing the money by showing the company to be running at a loss.
William then encouraged Adel to get a loan from family to buy a fridge van and has taken use of
that for his new company and still enjoying use of that but again without paying any of the £35000
borrowed from adel
Currently billy has over 12 companies in various names all run in a fraudulent and dishonest way.
He has been formally requested many times to share the books and accounts and where all the
cash has gone from the pub and events like le-mans 24 hour race but has yet to provide the
accounts and any paper work and hides when asked.
Billy owes over £150000 pound to Adel and is hiding behind his dodgy accountants and solicitors
like a coward.
for the past 10 months we have been asking for receipts full accounts & audits on the company’s
invested in but as you can see in this video billy just walks away and hides.
WIlliam Grinstead is currently under investigation from
ACTION FRUAD AND HMRC I WOULD AVOID THIS YELLOW TOOTHED RAT LIKE THE PLAGUE
and never do business with him.

We picked Black Jacket Events to be our caterers for our wedding at Vaulty Manor and we are so glad we did! Hannah did an amazing job leading up the big day, we booked quite far in advance and along the way changed our mind about what we would serve as evening food, black jackets allowed us to change & customise the buffet to suit us which on the day went down brilliantly.

Hannah replied quickly and was so helpful. Our food tasting was absolutely delicious (defo book one of those but be prepared to be stuffed!!) On the day Kirsty and the team were brilliant, the food was cooked perfect- (we had a few comments from friends saying it was the best food they've had at a wedding!). Kirsty was so helpful going above and beyond, even putting the petals out for the ceremony!

We would 100% recommend them. Thank you for all your hard work.
