We booked Victoria’s Ice Cream Cart through a recommendation from Ditton Manor. To be fair, the staff were reported to be friendly on the day and guests did enjoy the ice cream.

However, the experience leading up to the wedding was disappointing. Communication became poor closer to the wedding, with calls and emails going unanswered, and I had to involve our wedding coordinator to get a response.

We also asked more than once about tastings. We were initially told tastings would be later in the year, but we were not proactively contacted. When we followed up, the options given were wedding fairs around the Oxford area, which was not convenient for us, and we were instead told where we could purchase the ice cream ourselves. Given we were spending £1,200, I felt a small tasting option would have been reasonable. Bare in mind the ice cream is not in house its by a company called Marshfields Farm.

The main issue was the inconsistency around stock and pricing. We booked the £1,200 option after discussions about increasing stock for our guest numbers. Closer to the wedding, the wording shifted toward additional per-head pricing and concerns about stock, despite our numbers being broadly in line with what had already been discussed. In the end, they did not run out of ice cream nor did they leave it with the caterers - it was implied during communication through email that they would have "less to take" if we didnt upgrade the option.

I also found some of the wording in her emails comparing “typical British weddings” with Asian weddings uncomfortable, unnecessary and culturally insensitive given we were paying customers.

Overall, while the on-the-day service was fine, the communication, tasting process, and pre-wedding experience were not what I would expect for the price.

We had the pleasure of using Victoria's ice cream cart for our wedding drinks reception, and it was an absolute hit! Our guests were thrilled with the wide variety of delicious flavors, and we loved them too! The sunny weather made it the perfect addition to our celebration, and everyone thought it was such a fun and unique touch.

Victoria was fantastic to work with from start to finish. She kept in regular contact leading up to the event, helping us select the perfect range of flavors and ensuring everything was well-coordinated with our venue. Her attention to detail was second to none, and we felt confident everything would run smoothly.

I knew I wanted something extra for our guests for our winter wedding. As soon as our parents found out we had pancakes (it's not just ice-cream!) at the wedding, they were beyond excited. The queue for the pancakes was huge and all our guests loved them.
