Established in 2017, Bus and Bug is all about bringing retro fun and unforgettable experiences to your wedding.

Our fleet of beautifully restored classics includes a 1959 Splitscreen Campervan, a 1967 VW Beetle, and a one-of-a-kind 1972 Vintage VW Campervan serving delicious ice cream or specialty coffee and hand crafted waffles, each guaranteed to turn heads and create a fun, retro inspired experience for you and your guests.

Included in the wedding package is: Chauffeur driven service, two or three hours hire time depending on the package you choose, ribbons and/or flowers in your choice of colours and refreshments

How far in advance should I contact you?

For very popular dates or Saturdays in peak wedding season, we recommend booking up to 18 months in advance to avoid disappointment

Perfect Choice for wedding travel ❤️

Peggy, 6 seater spilt camper van is the perfect choice for wedding travel. We had Peggy for our wedding day 15.08.25 and we were so impressed and excited. We loved every second when travelling around, anyone reading this and thinking of booking I would highly recommend in doing so you will not be disappointed. Kate the owner of bus and bug is very friendly and helpful.

VW camper for a wedding, superb!!!

We had an incredible vintage VW camper collect us and take us to our wedding (in style)!. The driver Mike was a legend! We had the best time ever, and it was a great addition to the day! We had the camper for 4 hours, so it collected us after the ceremony also and drove us to the reception (via a photo stop off). Highly recommend this company!

We hired our wedding car and audio guest book through Bus and Bug. They are really helpful and had great communication all the way up to the wedding day itself.

All of our guests loved the audio guest book and thought it was a great addition!

We Loved Peggy!

We hired Peggy to take me, bridesmaids, flower girl and my mum to the Church and then just myself and my husband to the venue afterwards.

We loved the drive, Kate was amazing and the service was absolutely flawless. Kate is so responsive to emails and was happy to answer any silly questions I had!

Would totally recommend and the drive between the Church and the venue gave me and my husband some time to reflect on the fact we just got married! And got to catch up on each others mornings.

Thank you so so much. We loved the experience so much and would definitely recommend you 💕

Super professional service

We booked the VW camper from Bus and Bug for our wedding and could not have been happier. The service was exceptional and the camper looked amazing. They were super flexible too, driving us to the beach between the ceremony and reception for photos. They have also been really helpful afterwards in trying to get a parasol back to us that we left in the camper. Would 100% recommend!

Amazing experience!

Awesome wedding campervan!

Bus and Bug Vintage Weddings provided us with a really fantastic vintage VW campervan for our wedding. Pearl, our van, was everything we had hoped for. She was decorated beautifully inside with bunting and cushions and was decorated outside with ribbons and flowers. Our driver Ian was friendly and really helpful. Bottles of water and other useful items were provided for the journey, and after the wedding we were presented with some Prosecco which was lovely.

Bus and Bug Vintage Weddings were professional and helpful throughout the whole process and we highly recommend them.

Wonderful service! Kate arrived with the beautiful VW Transpoter with plenty of time to spare, took some photos on request as well and even waited until after the ceremony in case we wanted some photos as newlyweds(we did)!

Worst service and poor communication

Complete joke! Avoid it! The worst company I ever worked with. Communication so poorly and bad organised. When booked with Kate, she promised amazing service, but she delivered the worst service ever. She completely messed up timing if arrival and departure, although everything was completed on the booking system. And the email communication. Kate is so rude! She did not explain there was a time limit when we book we said about that we are worrying about traffic and she assures us that it will be all included with the first invoice. Just before the wedding she demanded extra payment for every hour. Never ever again

An Excellent Vintage

We hired Rupert for our vow renewal in October 21. Everything from booking, to decoration and the smooth journey to the venue were sublime. Our amazing driver was the icing on the cake. We cannot thank or recommend Bug and Vintage enough.
If you are celebrating your special day at a single venue then we would recommend taking advantage of the drive after your ceremony if you can. We are so glad we did as it was the only time we had alone during the day but it was a precious gift which allowed us to take a breath before being swept back up in the celebrations.
