Wedding Cakes in Essex

Me and my wife got married last week and were lucky enough to have Hanna as our cake lady. We first met Hanna at a wedding fair where we tried her delicious cakes. We were sold the flavours were amazing and Hanna’s passion really shines through. Throughout the whole process she was extremely professional and always at the end of the phone. She is very active on social media always sharing her work and it’s so lovely to see as I knew we were in safe hands. Our relationship with Hanna has been like that of an old friend. There was never a quiet period where we didn’t know what was going on there were lots of laughs and meetings were always fun and insightful. I don’t think we could have found a better person to make our dream cake. Everyone commented on how amazing the cake was, including my two cats who managed to sneak a bit. If you’re getting married or have a birthday look no further. I’ll definitely be back in a few years for my 30th Matt & Emily Xx

A stunning cake to look at and beautiful moist cake inside. All three cakes were different in each tier and all delicious. Highly recommended ❤️

Maria's cakes are pure magic! She crafted a Legend of Zelda cake for our wedding that was an absolute masterpiece. Not only did it look stunning with meticulous details, but the taste was heavenly – moist layers and divine frosting. Rebecca is incredible at what she does. She was able to create the cake of our dreams with hand painted details from just inspiration photos. The cake flavours were unbelievable. Our edible favours were beautifully packaged and tasted sublime! We were especially impressed with the fact that she made separate slices for our family and friends with allergies so that entire tiers did not have to be made this way (and to ensure no cross contamination). I would highly recommend booking with Rebecca! Thank you so much! X

We were so happy with our beautiful wedding cake and got so many compliments! It was exactly what we imagined. Emma was brilliant and accommodated us fairly last minute. She took time to check any allergies etc with us and understand exactly what we wanted. So happy with it! Thanks again

We couldn't recommend Katie enough! I have a dairy allergy and the wedding cake was one thing which I really wanted to be able to enjoy. Our originally baker had let us down and then I found The Hadham Rolling Pin. Katie was always very good at replying to emails and ensuring that the cake was exactly as we wanted, and completely dairy fee. She is very local to us and I am sure we will use her services in the future! I would recomend The Hadham Rolling Pin to anyone getting married.

Sarah did an absolutely incredible job on our 4 tiered wedding cake. Throughout the whole process Sarah was helpful, communicative and flexible. Given covid we had to move our date three times - every time Sarah was determined to make the new date work and for that we are so grateful. On the big day the cake was stunning - but above all absolutely delicious. Thank you so much Sarah for making our perfect day that little bit more perfect. Alex & Greg
