I bought my dress here because they had the Milla dress I wanted but the experience wasn’t as customized and luxurious as other boutiques in the area (a bit too pushy)

From the initial call, the wonderful welcome, excellent service trying on dresses, all the way to the final alterations - Chameleon Bride were fantastic! They very quickly understood the type of dress I was looking for and were super helpful running through accessories and sleeves with multiple dresses to help me decide. The alterations team were so easy to work with and fitted my dress beautifully.

For a girl who isn't very girly, they made me feel like an absolute princess!

I bought my dress here in May 2025. The initial appointment was great, but everything after that was a mess.

I was told the dress would take around 7 months to arrive. It came in 2, and I was told I had to pick it up ASAP or pay a storage fee. I live 2 hours away, so I had to drop everything to come down to Bournemouth.

When we got there, we stopped at their Mother of the Bride shop for my MIL, where the assistant was rude, patronising, and made us feel totally unwelcome. I was then sent back and forth between Chameleon and the other shop just trying to locate my dress because neither knew where it was. It completely ruined what should have been an exciting day.

When I finally got to collect it, they refused to let me try it on to make sure everything was okay, despite there being an open changing room and me not needing any help. It felt like as soon as they had my money, they couldn't care less.

On the actual wedding day, the dress looked lovely, but less than 10 minutes into cocktail hour the hook and eyelet snapped. On top of that, the bustle only picked up about half the train, leaving the rest dragging. People kept stepping on it all evening, and I ended up having to change out of my wedding dress early just to be able to move around.

I wrote into Chameleon to raise these issues and was instead given a list of excuses and defences but no bride should have her dress break on their Wedding day!

Given the price point and the importance of the event, the customer service, logistics, and dress quality fell far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend this shop.

Cannot recommend chameleon enough with speciala shout-out to Saturn!
I am someone that has never been particularly girly or decisive. I knew what I didn't want but didn't really know what I did want and get overwhelmed easily but the set up was perfect. All I knew is that I wanted something quirky and less traditional.
Saturn sat and listened to my ideas, my likes and dislikes, asked about the day itself and the venue and got excited with us and then brought out 2 gowns at a time to try and listened to what I did and didn't like about them to then bring out the next 2.
When I had found one I really liked but couldn't make a decision on Saturn then got me to try on a couple more just to see. This really helped as I found I was comparing them to the one I loved and helped me to know it was the right decision and she made sure it was ones that had the option for different colours underneath too.
I am also plus sized and was worried I wouldn't fit in any of the gowns and that it would be an all round hideous experience but my size never needed to be mentioned, they just treated me like any other bride and it was never an issue and they have larger sample sizes which really helped.
The whole process was excellent, from booking, to storage, to the really lovely seamstress and lady helping with fittings (both of which I've forgotten their names I'm so sorry), everyone brought the love and excitement and it was fantastic. Would highly recommend to any other brides especially anxious/plus size brides

I had a very positive experience with Chameleon. They know what they are doing and they do it well. From trying on dresses and helping me find my style to the alterations and final fitting where I was having a crisis of confidence, the ladies were brilliant and made some adjustments that made me feel confident in my stunning dress. HIGHLY recommend :)
