Unfortunately, the overall experience was quite poor, and I’m really unhappy with the condition of the Savvy dress I purchased.

If you’re buying a dress off the peg, be prepared for it to potentially be dirty, torn, have appliqués falling off, or have other damage — and unfortunately, staff may not necessarily point these things out to you, even if they are aware of them.

The most disappointing part for me was discovering that the clasps at the back of the dress were completely broken. I couldn’t properly see them while trying the dress on, so I specifically asked the lady whether they could be fastened so I could see the complete look. She looked at them and simply said, “Yes, it’s possible to fasten them,” before moving on to something else. When I got home, I realised they were actually broken, which means I now need additional alterations that I wasn’t expecting.

The appointments also felt quite rushed. During my first appointment, when I asked to try on a few more dresses, I was told, “Oh, it’s time, I’ve got another appointment,” even though my allocated appointment time had not actually finished. They advertise appointments as lasting 1 hour 30 minutes, so this was quite disappointing.

By the end, I honestly just wanted to be done with the whole experience as quickly as possible.

In terms of the choice of dresses, the selection is actually quite good. However, I would strongly recommend checking any off-the-peg dress VERY thoroughly before buying it. Even though you are not purchasing a second-hand dress, its condition can unfortunately make it look as though it has been very heavily used.

I really wish my experience had been better, especially as finding your wedding dress is supposed to be such an exciting experience.

Bee Bridal outlet gave me the perfect experience of finding my dress. Going in, i had no idea what I was wanting to find- but with over 1000 dresses to go through, if I didn’t find it there, I was never going to find it!
I was given so much time to just go through the rails and pick out as many dresses as I wanted to try. There was no pressure to rush or to pick anything with haste.
With a glass of bubbles, I tried on the dresses and thought I’d found my one. Until lovely Victoria asked if I’d try just one more on that she thought would suit me- and that was it, my dress!

Their professionalism, knowledge and care helped me find the perfect dress and I felt like a princess in the shop and on my wedding day.
