Nicola is a internationally published, cruelty free hair and makeup artist specialising in airbrush makeup. She offers a bespoke, personal service to each bride. Nicola works with you every step of the way, ensuring that she provides you with an enjoyable, personal and professional experience.

Nicola's editorial bridal work has featured in magazines including: Your Yorkshire Wedding, Brides Up North, Belle Bridal, and Bride magazine along with several wedding blogs including Magpie weddings, Rock my Wedding and the English Wedding blog to name but a few.

She uses only the best cruelty free, high-quality products in her kit to achieve a professional, flawless look that is designed just for you. Nicola trained in media make up, but continues to regularly update her training keeping up with the latest trends in natural & romantic, modern bridal styling. She is a member of the prestigious Kristina Gasperas Academy and is also a founding member of the Unveiled Network and Brides up North.

Nicola provides on-site services for your convenience. She can provide you with a wide range of services including: one on one makeup sessions and group lessons, tattoo/scar coverage, glitter bar service and glitter tattoos, hairstyling and airbrush or traditional make up for weddings or your special event.

How far in advance should I contact you?

As far in advance as you can (currently booking into 2023!) However, if you are in need of a make up artist close to your event I may be able to help, just get in touch

What is the charge for traveling?

Mileage is based on a return journey. The first 10 miles from the S75 postcode are free, thereafter the charge is 50p a mile

What is your main business area?

Make up

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?

Yes

How many people can you beautify for one wedding?

As many as possible in the time-scale given. For larger groups I can bring a second artist along to assist, there will be an additional charge for this

Do you beautify the bride for prewedding and postwedding photography?

Just had my hair & make up trial - Amazing!

Wow, what can I say. Nicola is absolutely lovely.
After showing her some pictures of what I liked, she interpreted the styles perfectly. Not a duplication, rather her own take on them.
I am so happy and can't wait for Nicola to get me and my bridesmaids ready for the big day in August. Thanks so much Nicola!

Absolutely amazing!

I booked Nicola for my makeup for my wedding along with two bridesmaids, a flower girl, my mum and my mother in law.
Nicola was so friendly and made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable, she talked my mum through step by step explaining the whole process leaving her super relaxed and absolutely over the moon with her makeup. (As we’re we all)
Overall Nicola was brilliant. Highly professional everyone’s makeup looked amazing all day!

Nicola was a pleasure to have in our home on our wedding day. She gave fab advice and worked with all four of us to create the looks we wanted. She met with me initially to discuss what I was looking for and to look through her portfolio which I really appreciated and gave me change to get to know Nicola. She then came for a trial day and spend more than enough time working with us on what we wanted for the day. Nicola went above and beyond for us and was such a calming influence on my wedding day. As well as a fantastic make up artist, Nicola is an all round lovely person who loves her work and speaks passionately about it. I would definitely book Nicola again without hesitation! I cannot say thank you enough! X

Wedding make up

Nicola is amazing and the airbrush makeup lasted for over 12 hours really polite and we all felt really comfortable with nicola she did 7 of us all in plenty of time for mine and Carl's wedding also jumped in and helped us to get ready I recommend nicola 100% we all really loved our make up. Wedding Make-up

Nicola was absolutely amazing for my wedding back in October. The trial captured what I wanted perfectly without me even having much of an idea! I had no doubts on the day and my bridesmaids looks beautiful too. Nicola joined in with our Disney tunes in the morning and even though she didn’t do my hair, she made sure my veil was in place properly as my hair stylist had left. She really showed me she cared and it’s clear from the photos that the make-up really did make me look beautiful without looking like I was smothered in it!

Amazing makeup artist

We met Nicola last year and I knew immediately that I wanted her to do my wedding makeup. Not only does she do beautiful and natural makeup but she only uses cruelty free products also which was a massive selling point for me. We all absolutely loved our trial with Nicola and were even more happy with the makeup that she did for us on the wedding day. We all received lots of compliments for our makeup and in particular for simply looking like a better version of ourselves rather than being unrecognisable. Nicola is such a lovely person; she was happy to be on the other end of the phone for me when I needed advice and provided so much support on the morning of the wedding that went above and beyond her role as our makeup artist

Friendly service, great makeup

I really wanted cruelty free makeup for my wedding day which is why I found Nicola. After our first meeting I was made to feel at ease about the whole process, Nicola was rally easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. We worked together at our trial to make sure my make up was what I wanted and on the day Nicola had listened to everything and did my make up perfectly as well as helping me feel calm before the ceremony. I was very pleased I’d booked her.

Nicola is amazing. Her makeup skills are exceptional, she really listens to what you want. The makeup lasted all day without even looking like it needed a touch up.

She is so down to earth, helpful and friendly, which is just what you need the morning of your wedding as she also helped calm my nerves. She even helped me to get dressed and organised before she left, which she didn't have to do.

She goes above and beyond for her clients and I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is simply amazing.

Nicola is brilliant and replies quickly. She made great suggestions. I looked perfect and it lasted all night without any top-ups. Nicola had made sure we had supplies in case. I'd recommend her to everyone.

Very professional, down to earth and friendly. Really good price and my makeup and hair was perfect for my big day. The bridesmaids also looked gorgeous. My makeup lasted the entire day, and Nicola was more than happy to tweak things for me. I would certainly recommend. Big thanks!

My sister booked Nicola as a surprise for my wedding. The make up was absolutely amazing and lasted all day without needing any touch up. It was very light and breathable. Nicola was really lovely and used cruelty free products. I would highly recommend her.
