NICOLA REVIEW
Where do I even begin?! Nicola was an absolute delight to have as our Hair & Makeup artist. I had both hair & makeup done, and my bridesmaids had their hair done by Nicola and I couldn't be happier with how I/we looked!
From our initial call to the trial to the day itself, Nicola always listened to what I wanted and made the effort to do everything she could to make me feel comfortable and confident. She has such a positive energy and really made our morning getting ready calm, fun and enjoyable! My makeup was gorgeous and lasted all day with no touch-ups needed at all - and usually my makeup doesn't last that long because I have pretty oily skin. But Nicola encouraged me to keep up with a consistent skincare routine and sent over tips to help keep skin clear - and it really worked! The makeup sat so well on my skin and looked flawless. My hair is a short pixie so we didn't really have loads of options of what to do with it, but I did have a tiara that I wanted to wear but had no idea how it could clip and and stay in place when my hair was so short... but obviously Nicola is a genius and easily fixed it in place and it didn't budge all night!! Even when dancing and headbanging!!! It was such a wonderful feeling to be able to dance around all day and night and not worry about fixing my hair or makeup because it all just stayed perfect.
I have never felt so beautiful and owe it all to Nicola! I 10000% recommend her as a hair & makeup artist. Thank you so much xx -

Nicola is amazing!
From the first time I spoke with Nicola I knew I wanted to work with her for our special day, little did I know at the time we’d end up doing it all twice!! Nicola is knowledgeable and talented – the photos of brides and their bridesmaids on her site speak for themselves – but more than this, Nicola is a wonderful person and put me at ease from the first call as someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup in real life!
Our first (little big) day was in August 2020, at the point when things were just opening up and Nicola was fantastic at keeping me informed about how things would work and ensuring that she could still provide me and my bridal party (2 bridesmaids and both Mums) with an excellent hair and makeup experience, with added PPE and social distancing included! Everyone looked flawless and Nicola’s calm and inclusive approach in the face of what must have been a stressful time for her too really helped us all relax into what was quite a strange and at times stressful morning of preparation for our very different day!
Happily, Nicola was also available to work with us for our re-scheduled (big) day two years later in August 2022 and once again was a huge part of our preparations, including helping us ferry some bits and pieces around the venue (thank you again!). Once again everyone looked brilliant and our makeup lasted all day and into the night.
Thank you, Nicola, for making me look like the best version of myself, twice! I hope to have an excuse to work with you again in the future xx -
