What can I say … Karen was just fabulous! Super friendly and accommodating, totally put me and my bridesmaids at ease. Before we knew it 4 hours had flown by and it was time for me to put my dress on and leave the room to walk down the aisle. Thanks to Karen I was confident that I looked my absolute best & couldn’t stop smiling the entire day. I will 100% be calling on her for any more hair & makeup needs.

Karen is absolutely amazing. I don't know what else to say other than that. I found her on hitched.com for my wedding hair and makeup and she got back to me very promptly. I was nervous about getting the right look but Karen knew exactly what I wanted after listening to me chat through my ideas and after showing her some styles on pinterest. She had no issues tapering down my look on my trial and on the day she was a saviour (especially after a very stressful week in the lead up to the wedding). I would recommend Karen to anybody getting married or for a big event--she's amazing!

I contacted Karen to request a hair and makeup trial. Karen responded quickly and clearly explained her services and costs.
Karen arrived on time and was happy to listen to my needs, as I don’t wear makeup at all and didn’t want to be overdone, but look natural. I have thick curly hair and always worry about how it will be handled. Karen knew how to make the most of my curls.
On the day of the wedding (17 August 2021)
Again Karen arrived on time. Karen had remembered what we genuinely chatted about and we chatted like old friends.
Karen is very friendly, helpful and listens well.
It was a pleasure to have Karen with me on the morning to do my hair and makeup and the proof of her amazing skills are in the compliments I received when people saw our wedding photos. Beautiful, stunning, amazing were words used to describe how I looked.

Karen works perfectly under pressure, she can improvise and come up with a perfect hair style on the spot, the make up she did would last for another day or two if I hadn’t washed it off, she matched the products with my skin perfectly, and all this whilst having a really pleasant conversation! 100% recommend

Karen was brilliant and did the most amazing hair and makeup. She was clam, relaxed and really friendly. I was soo pleased with my hair and Make up - it lasted all day and night without needing Andy touch ups 😊 Karen created the exact look I wanted and I still felt like me but better! I only started looking after my skin beyond washing it a few years ago, and I have a simple make up repertoire. My hair is always either loose or in a ponytail.

Karen did a wonderful job at making me look wonderful, but still like myself, which was key for me. She slotted seamlessly into my day - it felt like having an extra friend there.

I also had a ceilidh at my wedding. High energy was an understatement, and yet my hair remained perfectly in place and my makeup refused to move despite profuse sweating. High recommend.

A few weeks ago, Karen did my wedding hair as well as my bridesmaids and two mother of the bride/groom. She was absolutely amazing! Karen completely understood the look I was after and I felt incredible. She was really flexible with the hairstyles when a bridesmaid wanted to change a small aspect of the style. But most importantly, Karen was so lovely and chatty, and put everyone at ease! She was like another member of the bridal party! Thank you so much for doing an amazing job :)

Karen was extremely helpful and responsive in the lead up to my wedding (including my cancelled date and my brain frazzle in the lead up to my actual date). On the morning of the wedding it felt like Karen was a friend rather than someone I'd never met prior to that morning. She kept me calm and the morning was relaxed, chatting whilst getting ready. My hair and make up were perfect for the day, as was my sisters bridesmaid make up. Safe to say its cry proof too (happy tears!). If I had all the money in the world to do my wedding again I would still choose Karen!
She was absolutely fantastic.
She did me, my mum, and my sister and we all loved our looks. Very sophisticated yet glam.
The make up stayed on all day but didn't feel at all heavy or caked on.
My mum doesn't wear that much make up normally but she felt really comfortable with what Karen did.
Our hairstyles were all perfect, she listened to what we wanted and matched it exactly, and again it stayed in place throughout the wedding and the whole reception.
At the end of the night I looked at myself and couldn't believe how good I still looked!
She was also brilliant to have while getting ready - very calming and supportive.

Karen is amazing! She did our hair and makeup for both my sister’s wedding and my own and we were ecstatic with both. We both had very relaxed, natural looking styles and felt amazing on our big days.

As well as the fantastic hair & makeup Karen is wonderful to have around on your wedding day and the pre-wedding trial was so much fun. On the day we also had Helen assisting Karen (there were a number of us to have hair/makeup done) who was so lovely and really listened to the looks we wanted to achieve, a great team!

It can be daunting choosing someone to do your hair & makeup for your wedding, not only because you want to feel and look amazing on your day but also because the morning of your wedding can be quite an emotional and personal time. Having Karen there was just like having another friend with us, she is so easy to get on with and puts you at complete ease.

Karen listened to our personal preferences and styles and helped to guide us to a makeup and hair look we all loved, without ever being pushy or trying to talk us into a look we didn’t feel comfortable with. I cannot recommend Karen enough!

Karen is amazing - the trial was brilliant and Karen didn't just create my look, she also gave me advice on skin care before the big day as well. I just showed her the look I wanted and she created it for me, adapting it to my colouring. On the big day she was there on time, she was calm (which kept me calm!) and most importantly my make up was just perfect. The wedding pictures look so good - much better than I ever thought they would - and that's all down to Karen working her magic. She's a lovely lady and a brilliant make-up artist - just book her as I promise you will not be disappointed!

Karen did my bridal hair for my wedding recently and I couldn’t have asked for a better stylist.
From the trial in which I was able to try as many styles until I was totally happy to Karen calming my nerves on the morning of the wedding, she is just was fantastic.
Also doing hair for some other members of my bridal party and they also were thrilled with their styles.
If you want a calm experience with a very talented hair stylist Karen is who you need and I will be recommending her to all my friends.

I cannot say enough how thrilled I was with Karen from the first trial to the big day! At first I was a bit nervous as I don't tend to wear too much make up from day to day but I put my faith into her and it paid off! Not only did she make me look and feel so special, her professionalism really helped calming my nerves! I cannot recommend her enough!
