Hair and Makeup with Dren is a company based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, that provides wedding-day styling. The fully trained artist, Dren, has worked with soon-to-be-weds for many years. Taking the time to get to know the clients, Dren is passionate about ensuring that individuals walk down the aisle feeling and looking their best.
Services Offered
Hair and Makeup with Dren provides services tailored to the couple's style. To ensure that the individual is pleased with their wedding day look, Dren organises a trial before the occasion. During this meeting, Dren will try out different options, allowing the individual to see how the look feels. In addition to hairstyling and makeup services, Dren is qualified to make handmade custom wigs. Dren can also travel to your location for your convenience, covering the UK and abroad.

What is included in the wedding package?
A personal service for the bride and bridal party, where I travel wherever you need me to be, at what ever time is required to ensure everyone is ready in time! hoary for those early starts too!
How far in advance should I contact you?
I would suggest that as soon as you have booked your venue, book your hair and makeup artist! however for those who plan last minute weddings, still contact me, there may be last minute availability

What is the charge for travelling?
I charge £0.45 per mile travelled
What is your main business area?

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?
Yes
How many people can you beautify for one wedding?
With my experience, this all depends on the time you are getting married, and also more importantly how early you want to all get up on the morning of the wedding! on average I can do 5 people
Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?
Yes
What are the forms of payment?
All payments are made via cash or transfer, the week before the trial or big day! I send out an invoice to you, which includes all payment options

The absolute best!
Dren did hair and makeup for myself, mum and bridesmaids for my wedding. She was AMAZING throughout the whole process and made me feel like an absolute princess on my wedding day. We had a great trial so I felt super confident on the big day! On the morning of my wedding Dren was just like having another one of the girl gang there! She chatted to everyone and joined in making everyone feel super comfortable. Afterwards everyone said how amazing she was. She is such a professional and I would recommend her to everyone!

10/10 hair and makeup
Dren straight away put me at ease on my trial and made me feel so excited about my look for the wedding. She did hair and makeup for me, my mum and 3 bridesmaids and was able to suit all of our different complexions and styles perfectly and it all held out, even after hours of dancing! She was so lovely and an absolute joy to have involved in my wedding day. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful hair and make up
Dren was so lovely throughout the process. She was professional, quick to reply and very accommodating. I had hair and make up done for myself and 4 others including my mum, my sister and two my nieces.
My hair is naturally curly and it can be a handful! it was a worry for me to find someone who could manage mine and my bridesmaid's hair. Dren was amazing at listening to all our hair needs and I absolutely loved all the styles she created for us. It lasted all day and did not budge, without feeling crispy or crunchy.
We also had our make up done and my nieces loved having someone professional do it. One is 10 and had very little done but, Dren still made her feel like a princess. Te other is 15 so had a bit more of an adult look but not too much.
Can't recommend her enough. Thank you so much xx

Dren is incredible!
Your makeup and hair artist is such a big part of your wedding day. They spend the whole morning with you and your closest, getting you all settled and prepped for heading out. Dren became a hugely calming influence on me on my wedding day. Her bubbly personality mixed with her talented hair and makeup artistry is a recipe for the most perfect prep experience I could have wished for. I struggle with sensory overload and Dren was so accommodating with this, allowing me to have breaks and checking in with me. I couldn't have wished for more!

Outstanding
Cannot express how amazing dren is. Right from the beginning the communication was great . She made us feel so comfortable in the trials and listened and was happy to change and try different ideas
On the wedding day Dren really made the morning of the wedding each one of us looked amazing and I cannot believed how I felt when first looked in the mirror .
Totally unbelievable. Nothing was too much trouble and Dren was so so calm and happy and made us all smile

At the trial Dren was so patient and happy to spend as long as needed to make any modification or suggestions, ensuring we were both happy. She really listened to preferences and vision and tailored it all perfectly.
On the wedding day itself Dren worked tirelessly to get myself and 3 bridesmaids ready. We were all so pleased with our looks and they lasted all evening, despite it being the hottest day of the year!

Beautiful hair and make up
I'm so glad I chose Dren to be the hair and make-up artist on my wedding day. She really listened to what I wanted during the consultation and developed a natural and sophisticated make-up look that matched my colouring perfectly. She was a joy to have as part of our bridal crew on the morning itself and was such a kind, calming presence. My hair and make-up stayed looking the same all day and night - which was particularly impressive given the 36 degree heatwave conditions!

Absolutely amazing!
Dren was absolutely the best hair and make up artist I could have asked for on our wedding day. The morning of your wedding is such an intimate thing and Dren absolutely fitting into it. During my trial Dren was so receptive to my ideas and really made me feel at ease about discussing my vision for my wedding morning. Dren had done my hair and make up before when I was a bridesmaid and I knew then she was who I wanted to do my bridal make up. Dren has done mine and my two close friends bridal make up and I would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much Dren for making me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt! Emma

Dren is one of the loviest people I have ever met, and I feel so lucky to have been able to book her for my hair & makeup on my wedding day.
Dren was quick to respond to messages, and always so polite and friendly.
She did the hair of my 3 bridesmaids, plus hair and makeup for myself. When I first looked in the mirror, I honestly couldn't believe I was staring back at myself. Dren made me look and feel amazing, and I wish I could have her do my hair & makeup every day!
As well as being a great person, Drens services were a great price, and so I would highly recommend!
