I came across Sophy's work through Instagram and was instantly drawn to her gorgeous, radiant makeup looks. In the lead up to my wedding, Sophy tried out various looks in a trial. She listened very well to the vision I had in mind and knew exactly what the right look would be for me! Sophy taught me about the importance of good skincare and recommended lots of products to me, which I fell in love with. During the morning of my wedding, she made me feel very calm and confident about myself. My makeup photographed beautifully and stayed glowy and fresh throughout the evening. Sophy is a very talented artist and it was a pleasure to work with her. Would 100% recommend! Xx
As someone who doesn't wear a lot of (if any!) makeup, Sophy listened to my requirements for a subtle look and I absolutely loved the finished look! I have never looked or felt better.
Sophy also gave me some great tips for achieving a similar look myself and has given me the confidence to try out some different products. Thank you so much Sophy. Alex Xx
Not necessarily! Long lasting make up doesn’t need to be heavy. I recommend creating lots of thin layers to create a long wearing, but light base that not only looks great in photos, but also in person.
Anywhere between 6-10 months in advance so you feel totally happy and confident with the final look.
Lipstick, powder and concealer! A touch of blush is also great to freshen up the cheeks after an emotional few hours and a swipe of your lipstick works really well for this.
It is imperative you feel happy with the make up, after all, you’ll be looking back at your wedding photos in years to come! If you’re not happy, either ask your make up artist if you can have another trial or perhaps consider contacting a different make up artist. Remember, not all make up artists are the same, hands on experience often outweighs qualifications.
