I can’t say enough good things about Wishbone & Comb! Laura (hair) and Georgiana (makeup) took care of me and all 5 of my bridesmaids on our big day, and they truly made the morning stress-free and fun.
From the very first email, their communication was excellent — clear, responsive, and thoughtful. They even provided a detailed guide and timeline that helped me figure out the perfect order for getting everyone ready without any rushing. It was such a relief to have that structure!
Both Laura and Georgiana are incredibly skilled, professional, and so easygoing. They listened to exactly what we wanted, the results were stunning, and everyone felt beautiful and relaxed. I specifically loved Laura’s whimsical approach to my hair which complemented my dress and was the vibe I was going for. For the quality of work and the whole experience, it was honestly fantastic value for money.
If you’re looking for bridal hair and makeup artists who genuinely care and deliver, Wishbone & Comb is the one. Thank you both so much — you made our wedding morning magical! -

Beth and Emily did a brilliant job on my wedding hair and makeup. They were professional, attentive, and made everyone feel completely at ease. The results were perfect, and my guests were full of compliments.
Laura was so friendly and easy to communicate with. She was very organised and always there for any questions I had before the big day!
I'd happily recommend Wishbone & Comb to anyone! -

Emily was lovely. Very friendly, approachable & happy to change parts of my make up to get exactly what I wanted. She was very patient & understanding. Mum & myself had our make up done. It was very warm, so Emily set up in the shade in the garden. We were both extremely pleased with the results & I felt so relaxed, which I didn’t expect on the morning of our wedding.
Thanks so much to Emily, I would highly recommend her.

Laura created a bespoke plaited bridal hair style for me, and high buns for my two sisters. My hair was amazing and everything I could have wished for. Laura was professional and friendly on the day of the wedding. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.Wishbone & Comb's reply:

Laura went above and beyond to ensure me and my party were ready on time, very professional and considering I had to make adjustments from just hair to both hair and make up she arrived extremely early and made sure we were all ready. The hair and make up were absolutely beautiful and both me and my bridesmaids were extremely happy with the service she provided! I had compliments all evening on how beautiful my hair was. Would highly recommend. -

My brother was getting married to his partner both male and therefore they weren’t thinking about how the females in their wedding party might like hair and makeup done.
I reached out to Laura who couldn’t have been more helpful and reassuring given I didn’t live in the area. We organised everything together, it was so easy.
On the day we had Hannah and Georgian come to do hair and makeup for 6 of us in the wider wedding party. They were just lovely and so helpful. They were great with the kids and mothers of the grooms. They made everyone feel special and started the day on a really positive note.
I would highly recommend wishbone and comb. The compliments throughout the day were worth it alone. They were brilliant.
