Amy Simms Make up and Hair works with clients and all walks of life, and customises each look and style to match their hair and skin type. Her hairstyles range elegant updos to loose, romantic waves, while her makeup aesthetics include natural and soft glam. From your first consultation to your finishing touches, Amy will make sure you have a relaxing, pampering time as you prepare for your wedding day.

Amazing Service

Amy is truly the loveliest person and she immediately put me at ease, despite me being nervous and unsure on how I wanted the end result.

She worked patiently with me to find a look that I loved and then expertly executed this for me and my besties, with the help of her fab assistants, on my special day.

Can’t thank her enough for giving me so much confidence, kindness and support throughout this process - Amy you are the best!

Amy is incredible, such a warm, friendly and lovely person to chat to. My mum and I both went for a trial initially and she immediately put us at ease in her lovely studio and was very accommodating to us wanting very natural styles. We were both super happy with both hair and makeup as she captured what we wanted so easily. :) she was super flexible on the day as well and very easy to communicate with. I can't imagine anyone better! Thank you so much Amy ☺️

Kellie's wedding hair and make up

My cousin got married on the 30th may and amy was our hair and make up artist booked for the day. Excellent service from amy and her lovely assistant. We had hair and make up for 5 of us everything was done beautifully and very very professionally. A big thankyou to amy and her assistant for making us all feel beautiful

Glamping wedding

I booked Amy for mine & my daughters hair & make up when I got married in a field in Lincolnshire. We could not of been any happier with the results.
Amy was just so lovely & professional throughout the whole experience.
We had a trial run at her home before where she made us feel extremely welcome & really listened to what we wanted.
On the day Amy came to us at the wedding venue where she looked after us in the bell tent. She made us feel so relaxed it was just a lovely, experience being looked after by such a friendly, professional lady. I’m so pleased I booked Amy & if I require hair & make up in the future she will 100% be my 1st port of call.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Amy as my makeup artist for my wedding day! From the moment I reached out to her, she made me feel at ease. Flawless make up and a great experience!

When I contacted Amy through hitched I was not sure what I wanted from my wedding make up not being overly familiar with make my myself. Amy was helpful, kind and knowledgeable from the very start and very flexible when I wanted to change the amount of bridesmaids close to the time! My make up on the day was absolutely perfect and she kept me calm throughout the process! Would recommend to any bride :) thank you Amy!
