Absolutely wonderful and totally uniqueWe had our wedding ceremony and reception at Kent Life in June 2010 and had a truly wonderful experience. Joanne, the wedding co-ordinator was fantastic all the way through the process from initial booking right up to the day. Zest Creative Catering prepared a wonderful 5 course wedding breakfast which was enjoyed by all and nothing was too much trouble. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kent Life and Zest Creative Catering for anyone wanting to have a great wedding day.

A venue with a wonderful atmosphereWe got married on September 15th 2007 and had our reception at the museum of kent life. We could not have wished for a better venue. Audrey the wedding co-ordinator is so helpful. The food and drink was absolutely delicious very kentish and home produced. The Musum of Kent Life has a wonderful atmosphere all the guests commented on it.

FantasticWe got married here on 15th July and had an absolutely perfect day. The staff were brilliant especially Audrey the wedding co-ordinator and Sam her assistant, who were incredibly helpful. The reception room they dressed for us was exactly what we wanted. The wedding breakfast and evening buffet were delicious and we had lots of comments from our guests on how good the food was. All in all a perfect venue and day.

Excellent family friendly venueWe got married here on saturday and we couldnt have wished for a better place. Audrey Ratcliffe is the wedding coordinator and she was fantastic. The room that she decorated took our breath away. Mary Bonner, the caterer prepared a scumptious meal that everybody enjoyed. It is a wonderful location, that was easily found, due to excellent sign posting. Motorway noise - didnt even notice it, too busy enjoying our wonderful wedding day. Huge thank you to the museum of kent life.

Very sweetWe visited the Museum of Kent Life on a glorious autumn day. The wedding co-ordinator is full of life and very helpful. The Ulcombe Village Hall (where you have a ceremony) is sooo sweet. You hold your wedding breakfast in a building next to village hall which has beams and hops. The only downside is the motorway noise. Great location as there is a hotel right next door - and bride/guests could arrive by boat as the lock is 2 mins away. Very pretty and something totally different.

Think "Darling Buds Of May"Been to one wedding there Spring 2002. Wacky place which is actually a sort of open-air museum. Couple got married in The Village Hall, which is the genuine corrugated iron article complete with out-of-tune upright piano. Reception was in a cosy upstairs room (barn conversion?) alongside, and the resident caterers (Bonners) were first class. Bride got ready in a room above the Tea Shop, through which she came down before walking to The Village Hall through the punters who'd paid to come in and gawp at the exhibits. It's right alongside the M20, which means it's easy to get to. It also means a LOT of traffic noise if the wind's in the wrong direction. It's certainly unusual!
