We’d been looking for a while to find somebody to film our wedding in Super 8 - we love how nostalgic they look. The ultra high definition 4K videos that most people get just didn’t really seem to represent us. A few people seemed to do Super 8, but often as add-ons to (very expensive) video packages. Anyway, when we came across Janos Films we knew we had to book!

Lewis was faultless from the start, communication was excellent and we had a chat before the wedding to discuss what we wanted. He was there for our whole wedding day in the background. Even though the amount of footage that can be taken is limited with physical film (compared to digital), he managed to capture all of the social moments.

The video we received back was perfectly edited to the music we’d requested. We both honestly cried watching it because it was so special. The original film in the tin is a really lovely keepsake as well.

For anybody thinking about Super 8 for their wedding, I cannot recommend Janos Films highly enough!

The film Lewis created for us was a beautiful addition to our wedding photography. We are so glad we went ahead with this video as it is the one we revisit the most. Lewis masterfully employs a unique aesthetic to create a perfectly packaged collection of memories. He was highly professional at all times, causing little to no disruption whilst capturing some of the most delicate moments. I would recommend his services to anyone who wants to hold on to the best moments of a truly special day, that passes so quickly once it comes.
