I cannot put into words how highly I recommend having your wedding at the Waterfront. From start to finish the whole process was seamless, Ella and Davia are an absolute credit to that hotel. Communication was 10/10, flexibility and support 10/10, and both Ella and Davia are kind, professional, and truly fantastic at what they do.

We stayed in the Other Penthouse and I was absolutely perfect to get ready in the morning of. The whole day was perfect and it is due to the hard work, skills, and expertise of the team. Our guests were looked after and - if anything went wrong - I absolutely didn’t notice and I am type A psycho 😂😭

Everyone was well fed - more than enough (which you always worry about!) - with amazing food. All of my vendors were accommodated for, and the dance floor was not empty at a single point (fantastic DJ included in package). So many of our guests commented it was best wedding evening they had ever experienced.

I cannot thank them enough. I wish we could do it all over again ♥️

We had the best day ever from start to finish at The Waterfront Hotel. From the moment we went to view the venue, we knew we didn’t need to look any further and Ella really looked after us from start to finish. We booked the ‘Little Big Day’ package as we only had 28 attending but the room was perfect for our party size and Enhance Events dress ed it amazingly. The food was not your average wedding food you expect but was absolutely delicious with good portions. If you book this venue for your big day, you will not regret it. The whole team look after you to make it feel so personal and special but special thanks to Ella, Jake and Diva.

Ella, Diava and the rest of the team are fantastic, they made the whole wedding day so easy and stress free, we never had to worry about anything the whole day.

The venue is brilliant value for money so I definitely reccomend booking the penthouses for getting ready in as they are very spacious and light with an amazing view :)

The food was great all of our guests said so and alternate diets can be catered for easily, just let them know!

The venue decorations looked amazing courtesy of Jenny and Claire from enhance events who do loads of the decorating at the waterfront and have a showroom attached to the venue - I highly reccomend them as they are lovely and know the venue very well and have lots of options available to suit your budget, they made the venue look even more amazing!

DJ Steve from Bazz Todd events was also amazing and worked with our playlist and added in a few crowd favourites too

The team were so helpful and kind to us, they couldn't do enough for you, anything at all we needed they were able to help with. All of our guests told us what an amazing wedding it was 🩷 thankyou to the team and everyone at the waterfront

It was a perfect wedding and location from start to finished would highly recommend , everything went as planned to perfection from our wedding planner Ella . The room was amazing everything you need all in the same place , amazing views of the lake and the sea in the distance and a great outdoor space with the balcony area. The hotel rooms were immaculate and the penthouse was luxurious. All the staff were very polite and helpful on our big day . We visited many local venues before we booked the Waterfront Hotel but were blown away when we visited the venue would highly recommended this Hotel to anyone planning there big day.

I cannot recommend the Waterfront Hotel highly enough. Ella and her team were the best, most professional team and made our day perfect (01/05/26).
We opted for a twilight package - ceremony starting at 4pm. The package was very reasonable and included a drinks/canapés reception and a buffet from a choice of 3 (we had the American - excellent)
Every guest I spoke to commented how beautiful the venue is and how good the food was.
The day ran like clockwork - thanks to all the Waterfront staff involved.
We also booked the Penthouse room for the night before and night of. It's a beautiful room for getting ready in and I had a lovely chilled day getting hair and makeup done with my girls.
The panoramic views in the main room are gorgeous- we were lucky enough to have a bit of sun before the rain came in and a beautiful sunset.
The Waterfront went above and beyond to make our day perfect - highly recommend!

What can we say. This was the most perfect setting for our wedding. The wedding from start to finish was absolutely amazing, everything was magical. The whole package was fantastic value. We chose the twilight package as we didn't want a huge wedding. It was perfect in every single way.

Ella and her team were a pleasure, they made sure everything was perfect and they really worked hard to provide the best service.

The food was absolutely delicious for a hot food buffet, everyone said it was delicious. They even made sure the bbq could still happen although the weather wasn't fantastic, they put a gazebo out just for us. Myself and Luke cant thank everyone enough.
The waterfront will forever have a special place in our heart.

Make yourself an appointment and when you see the room and view, you will want to book! The room is huge, has its own bar and toilets. It is totally secluded from the rest of the hotel.

Well we were originally going to have a quiet wedding at the town hall followed by a meal with the families so we booked to go to the town hall for a viewing.... So glad we did as neither of us were very impressed, we just looked at each other and said, no way! So we went looking at other venues and had almost made our minds up when we decided to just drop in at the Waterfront. So glad we did! It was done up for a Xmas party at the time but as soon as we walked into that room, with that view...we knew it was the right place for us. We got chatting to some guy who was helping to set out tables, who was really helpful and knowledgeable...turned out he was the general manager, Frank! We walked away, excited and impressed!
We got in contact with the events coordinator who became our wedding organiser, Ella. Ella was wonderful from start to finish, even meeting us at the venue at the weekends when it was her time off. She made everything very easy and took the stress out of the whole thing, she made sure we were happy every step of the way (which we were!) and the whole day went smoothly, without a hitch. The venue looked wonderful, the food was excellent and we enjoyed the day immensely. Special thanks to Diva who took over as Master of Ceremony on the day, she was wonderful too! Would we recommend the Waterfront? Absolutely, we would. We had guests come in from all over the country and abroad and everybody, bar none, enjoyed the day and their stay. Thank you Ella, Frank and the team, you really made our day special!

We chose The Waterfront as our location due to the welcoming, warm staff and the relaxed lovely feel of the event room. From the very beginning the process was made so simple with the professionalism and efficiency of The Waterfront. Our co-ordinator was Ella and she helped us throughout the whole process by keeping in touch and checking that we had everything in place for the day. Her warmth and professionalism and helpful advice made it all so easy and there was no stress at all. The Waterfront has a connection with a company that provides wedding decor for the room and the 2 ladies who did this were also brilliant and handled everything for us based on our chosen colour palette. The whole day was perfect. The staff working on the day from arrival for the Wedding Breakfast through to the last orders that night were excellent and so capable. The views from the hotel over the Marine lake were stunning. Cannot find any fault at all and highly recommend The Waterfront.

Our wedding was amazing, Natalie was brilliant and there was great communication throughout. The day went exactly as planned and was absolutely stunning. All staff were very professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. A stunning venue with a wonderful team working wonders behind the scenes.
