MacKenzie Wedding - 24.07.26
We chose The Lakehouse as our venue after attending a wedding fayre a few years before and falling in love with the ceremony room and views.
We had our twilight wedding on the 24th July 2026 and the day was as perfect as could be and everything we had dreamed of.
Natalie and her team made planning the day so easy, always being on hand to answer any questions in the build up and meeting with us on multiple occasions to discuss the plans - nothing was too much for her and she was so organised.
I cannot recommend booking the rooftop enough, and we got really lucky with the weather - after the ceremony, we went onto the roof for confetti, canapes and drinks - this was definitely one of the highlights of our day and all of our guests agreed.
The service we received at The Lakehouse more than exceeded our expectations, all the staff were on hand to help when needed and everyone was genuinely excited for us which made it feel so special!
The hotel rooms within venue were nice and spacious enough for getting ready the day, and there were enough rooms for our guests who had travelled to join us.
Overall, I couldn't recommend this venue enough to couples wanting something unique and special on their big day - the photo opportunities here are endless with it being in such a beautiful location! -

Second time wedding for both of us. We wanted a small wedding with close family and friends and we only had a small budget. The lakehouse was perfect for us. It's a special place that means something to us and it was where we got engaged. Natalie and all the team were amazing. Navigating my endless questions and constantly reassuring me. We of course wanted our fur baby (30kg labrador) with us and they didn't hesitate for a second to make sure he was part of our day and had everything he needed too. I think our terrible DJ gave them a good laugh not that you would know as their professionalism didn't waiver for a second. I'm not good at not doing everything myself but I had no choice but to hand over control and they were amazing. Thank you Natalie and all the team involved in making our day very special. -

We had our wedding at The Lakehouse 25th July and I couldn’t fault a single thing. In the lead up to the wedding Natalie our wedding co ordinator couldn’t have been more helpful, and nothing was too much trouble for her, you can really tell she’s experienced, there’s nothing she doesn’t know! She’s so organised and really helped us with things we wouldn’t have even thought about. We had a few guests with allergies and some with very specific dietary requirements and each request was met without a single issue. Sadly the weather was dreadful on the day and Natalie and the staff went out of their way to not let it alter our experience. Photographs that were meant to be outside sadly couldn’t take place and we did have some inside, Tyra the general manager went out of her way to fetch her camera from home and then in the evening when the weather settled she took us for a little photo shoot we were blown away by her kindness, we still can’t believe she did that for us! we can’t wait to see the pictures, several members of staff stayed with us at each photograph attempt to help with my veil/dress etc which is just something you wouldn’t expect them to do. Each member of staff at Lakehouse couldn’t do enough for us, you can really tell they’re passionate about what they do! All our family have commented about the tasty food and service. It’s honestly ran like a well oiled machine! We stayed over night with a few family members and the rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious! Rachel Sent on 24/06/2026Best Wedding Venue Ever!
We had our twilight wedding at The Lakehouse in Waterloo on 23rd May 2026 and it was the best day ever! We had lovely weather and literally you couldn't have a better setting for a wedding.
From day 1 of booking the venue, Natalie was amazing, kept in touch through our wedding planning and helped us as much as possible to accommodate everything we wanted. We even got to drop stuff off the day before making it a lot easier.
On the day itself, Natalie had made sure our room was ready early so I could get ready in the room with my bridesmaids for hair and makeup. Nothing was too much, very professional, the day ran smoothly and we even got to use the jetty and the roof for wedding photos. We even had wedding cake left over which I gave to the staff for their hard work rather than it going to waste.
We would like to thank everyone at the Lakehouse for making our day special especially Natalie, Kyra, Wendy and all of the hardworking bar and kitchen staff who were working that day, we seriously cannot thank you enough!
I work as a wedding photographer/videographer myself so The Lakehouse was my number one choice for wedding venue being local, has rooms and has such a beautiful setting. I have worked here many times and the service and professionalism is always excellent. It is seriously the best wedding venue ever!
We will definitely be recommending The Lakehouse and using it for any future events/functions.

Best Venue EVER!
The Lake house is honestly the most perfect place to get married and we could not recommend it enough. We stayed in the hotel rooms the night before and after the wedding, they were lovely and clean, tidy and spacious. The morning of the wedding we had a lovely breakfast and were looked after by Kay, who was so welcoming and helpful! Tyra and Wendy looked after us throughout the whole day, checking in on us in the morning, helping us whilst leaving for the church and then once back they were on hand for everything us and the guests could possibly need. Natalie has helped plan and organise our wedding from the very start and nothing has ever been too much. We have felt so looked after throughout the whole process and everything was perfect and what we had dreamt of. The 3 of them were so positive, friendly, professional and fun. Can’t thank them and all of the staff enough for making our day perfect. The day ran so smoothly and i didn’t have to worry about anything. Food was amazing and we have had many comments from the guests about how nice it was especially the evening pizzas. The DJ (Andrew Taylor) that the lake house booked for us was amazing and played such a variety as well as lots of requests. THANK YOU so much to all of them and if you are thinking about having your wedding at the Lake house definitely do it, you will not regret it!

Highly recommend!
We had our wedding last Wednesday (11/03/2026) at the Lake House and we couldn’t recommend them enough! From the start of the planning process to the actual day they were amazing! The staff were so attentive to not just myself and my husband but our family, they regularly checked in with my grandparents to see if there was anything they needed and kept us updated every step of the way! You definitely get your money’s worth with them and it is a magical venue especially for a twilight wedding with the sunset on the lake! Thank you so much Natalie, Wendy and the team! -

We cant thank Lakehouse enough for making our day as perfect as it was. Natalie was incredible through the planning process and on the day, she made sure we knew what was happening at all times and made suggestions we'd not even thought of to enhance the day! Tyra's support throughout was really appreciated too, keeping in touch before the day and being there day of and of course Wendy brought an amazing energy to the day and made sure everything ran perfectly. The guests cannot stop telling us how much they enjoyed the wedding and how much they appreciated all the staff as nothing was too much trouble and they helped make the atmosphere even better. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lakehouse to anyone booking a wedding. The views are incredible and the venue itself is beautiful with such a great energy. Food was beautiful too and canapes went down really well! Tyra, Wendy and Natalie kept me so calm on the day and nothing was too much trouble. We'll always appreciate their support in making out day perfect. The rooms are also spotless and so comfortable, the perfect place to get ready and for guests of your wedding to enjoy. Can't fault anything, nothing was too much trouble and they took so much stress away that we just thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Thank you Lakehouse 💕 -
