The Hay Loft at Allerton Manor Golf Club is an enchanting wedding venue nestled in the scenic beauty of South Liverpool, Merseyside. Facilities and Capacity
Accommodating 80 day guests, and up to 120 evening guests, our exclusive space combines original character and a contemporary feel. Complete with original oak beams, beautiful arched window and working fireplace The Hay Loft creates a lasting first impression from the second you walk in.
At The Hay Loft we can look after your day from start to finish. We're licenced for civil ceremonies so you can make your vows beneath our beautiful arched window, enjoy a delicious wedding breakfast and even explore our lush grounds on our just married wedding buggies for a unique photo opportunity. Then get ready to celebrate late into the evening for your reception party. Our outdoor terrace with heaters and covered seating means that you can enjoy the tranquil space whatever the weather.

Magical autumn Wedding Day
The Hay Loft was one of the first venues we visited and we both instantly fell in love with the rustic, intimate setting for our autumn wedding (October 2024). Demi was great and helped us so much from start to finish, John who coordinated and ran the day was brilliant, he put us both at ease right from the beginning and was so kind and helpful throughout the day, lots of our guests commented on how great he was. The venue is just perfect inside and out and our photographs are beautiful. We opted efor the twilight option which included a hog roast buffet, the food was delicious and we’ve had so many compliments on it. The bar staff were all so friendly and attentive as well. I would highly recommend this venue for an intimate wedding. Perfect size, hosts and staff!

Millington Wedding 2024
One of the first venues we viewed and instantly loved. We knew we weren't going to have a large number of guests and the cosy, inviting atmosphere as you enter, caught our interest straight away. Not only the venue, but the staff on hand when we visited during the wedding fayre we attended. We came on 2 occasions (the 2nd to secure a date). We never felt pressured, but given every bit of information as well as a tote bag complete with every option for us to view in our own time at home. Once secured with Ruth, she ensured we were happy every step of the way. Including a wedding tasting where we were treated to drinks on the house. Nothing was too much effort and the actual day went by like a dream. John keeping us going and on time throughout the day. Calming my nerves as well as taking my nephews on a spin round the golf course! Couldn't have asked for a better venue or staff. Highly and most definitely recommend!

We would like to say a big “Thank you” to Ruth/John and to all the staffs of Allerton Manor golf club for making our wedding very organised and elegant. The place, services and value for money is worth it! I would recommend the place 200%.

The perfect day!! 11/10/24
Well what can I say! Allerton manor was the best place we could have celebrated our wedding, the food was outstanding, the venue looked stunning the staff completely saw my vision and made it happen. And last but not least the staff!! WOW they all went above and beyond to make our day so special I cannot thank Ruth and the team

Allerton Manor Golf Club
Words cannot explain how amazing this venue is. The team at Allerton Manor are just the best. Ruth and John are fantastic and we have made friends for life . Lynn who works behind the bar is the best cocktail maker ever and she made sure we had our favourite mojitos ready after we got married . We are both so happy that we had our wedding with you and we will always be returning for the amazing food you serve at the old stable xxxxxx

Twilight wedding
We had a twilight wedding at The Hayloft and it was perfect from beginning to end, all the staff couldn’t do enough for you and made sure everything was perfect on the day. The venue is absolutely beautiful and intimate.

The most perfect day!
We couldn’t have asked for a better day for our wedding! After planning in just 5 months Ruth was able to facilitate our requests to ensure we had the day we dreamt of. The venue looked amazing and Ruth was on hand for any queries we had and her and the team were extremely helpful on the day too. Our guests have commented that the food was the best wedding food they’ve had and everyone had a wonderful time! Wish we could do it all again

The most relaxing, effortless yet perfect wedding
Most people think of wedding planning and absolutely dread it but thanks to Demi and the amazing team at Allerton Manor I only have fond memories! They made the planning and execution of the day flow with ease and not once did I feel like I had to know what I was doing or where I needed to be because it was all planned and ready for me. Before you know it, you’ve blinked and all of those hours and excited wedding plans are all over but WOW was it an amazing day! The grounds are amazing for photographs and make for some amusing shots on the golf course! The golf buggy was also such a winner with us as bride and groom but also the guests loved taking pictures next to it! The food, the decor, everything about this venue is incredible and faultless. I’m so thankful that they offer more functions because this is a venue I’d never think twice about booking. Thank you so much again, Demi, Ruth, John and team at Allerton Manor ❤️

Above and beyond
We can’t thank everyone at Allerton Manor enough. Every moment of our day was absolutely perfect. Each staff member has been praised by all of our guest. They went above and beyond for us. We cannot recommend Allerton manor enough.

Our Perfect Twilight Wedding
Not even sure where to start with this review as there are so many wonderful things we can say about this stunning venue. We had a twilight wedding here and it was the most beautiful, magical day we could have ever asked for. Everyone always says that wedding planning is stressful but this amazing place couldn't have made our lives any easier.
We upgraded our buffet to the hog roast and it was worth every penny. The guests raved about it and we even had one of them enjoy it so much that they ate too many roast potatoes and had to contemplate going for a nap, that's how good it was! 😂
It is such a beautiful place that we really didn't need much in terms of venue dressing but what little we took down to use was presented beautifully by the staff.
We had our little shihtzu Albie with us for the entire day and he was made to feel so welcome which meant the world as it was key to us that he was a part of the full day.
We could go on and on about every aspect like how stunning the grounds are, how beautiful the venue is etc but we want to finish our review with a special shoutout to the staff in particular the lovely Ruth and John.
John was literally everywhere all at once on the day co-ordinating and making sure everything went to plan and he was an absolute natural at ensuring the day flowed seamlessly, it wouldn't have been the wedding it was without him.
Ruth is such a beautiful, kindhearted lady who is amazing at what she does and we really couldn't have asked for anyone better to be with us from the get go. She was there to reassure us, laugh with us, cry with us and help with every decision, big and small to make sure our wedding day was everything we could possibly want.
For anyone who wants to get married in a beautifully rustic venue, with great food, gorgeous views and the support of great people. We would 1000% recommend here!
PS: Also a huge thanks to the lovely Demi who dog sat for our little Albie while we had our final appointment!

Outstanding ❤️
Well what can I say from the moment wen met Ruth and John of the Hay Loft they was the most attentive considerate and accomadating people we could have wished for .. I was so nervous as we only had 6 months to prepare but continuous messages of support was so beautiful and eased my anxiety … Everything we wanted was no trouble even to the sentimental pictures and a candle I wanted to burn all day for my dad 💔.. I could actually feel the love and sincerity of how much that meant to me to make sure all my tiny details were adhered too .. On the day I arrived as an older couple getting married I never felt probably how I should have but the rooms I fell in love with the day I seen them and then when I seen my decor ….. WOW so many people commented on the staff the venue the service I fell in love with it all .. we even gave cards out as people asked for future events themselves .. Our day was just phenominal just sad we can’t do it all over again .. we will never be able to thank this amazing venue and staff for that special day … I adore this beautiful place and it will always hold a special place in our hearts along with our wedding co ordinators without them and how they treated us and our family and friends will would never of had that dream come true .. I hope one day we can have another event here ❤️
