We celebrated our wedding at the Hay loft on 08/06/2025. My wife Ellie and I made the decision to get married in February 2025 after a sudden family illness, and from the very beginning, Demi went above and beyond to support us. With such a short time to plan, she was incredibly responsive, reassuring, and thoughtful—nothing was too much trouble. Demi truly took the stress out of the entire experience and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. We’re so grateful for everything she did.
The day itself exceeded all expectations. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting every aspect of the wedding, and we didn’t hear a single complaint. Jon was also fantastic—he ensured everything ran seamlessly and kept us fully informed throughout the day. He didn’t miss a detail and was more than accommodating to ourselves and with any last-minute requests or changes. (We made a fair few!)
The catering was exceptional. Everything was so well-organized, and both the food and bar staff were outstanding—professional, friendly, and efficient.
We cannot recommend The Hay Loft and its amazing team highly enough. We’re beyond grateful for everything they did to make our day so special. It truly was perfect from start to finish. -

We had our Twilight wedding at Allerton Manor on 25/05/25. It was the most amazing day, our guests commented how lovely the venue and staff were. The day ran so smoothly and all the extra touches we requested were carried out perfectly. Demi was amazing during the planning process, communicating at all stages and answering any queries we had. John was a legend on the day, ensuring everything ran smoothly and even helping to bustle my dress! We chose the BBQ option and the food was gorgeous. I wish we could relive the day again! -

John and the staff were amazing during the evening, couldn't fault their professionalism and help. It was beautiful and it was everything we imagined - our Twilight Wedding was just perfect, thank you very much.
Everyone loved the Hog Roast, there was lots for everyone, thanks again we would highly recommend your services and venue to anyone getting married in the future. -

The Hay Loft was one of the first venues we visited and we both instantly fell in love with the rustic, intimate setting for our autumn wedding (October 2024). Demi was great and helped us so much from start to finish, John who coordinated and ran the day was brilliant, he put us both at ease right from the beginning and was so kind and helpful throughout the day, lots of our guests commented on how great he was. The venue is just perfect inside and out and our photographs are beautiful. We opted efor the twilight option which included a hog roast buffet, the food was delicious and we’ve had so many compliments on it. The bar staff were all so friendly and attentive as well. I would highly recommend this venue for an intimate wedding. Perfect size, hosts and staff! -

One of the first venues we viewed and instantly loved. We knew we weren't going to have a large number of guests and the cosy, inviting atmosphere as you enter, caught our interest straight away. Not only the venue, but the staff on hand when we visited during the wedding fayre we attended. We came on 2 occasions (the 2nd to secure a date). We never felt pressured, but given every bit of information as well as a tote bag complete with every option for us to view in our own time at home. Once secured with Ruth, she ensured we were happy every step of the way. Including a wedding tasting where we were treated to drinks on the house. Nothing was too much effort and the actual day went by like a dream. John keeping us going and on time throughout the day. Calming my nerves as well as taking my nephews on a spin round the golf course! Couldn't have asked for a better venue or staff. Highly and most definitely recommend! -

The perfect day!! 11/10/24
Well what can I say! Allerton manor was the best place we could have celebrated our wedding, the food was outstanding, the venue looked stunning the staff completely saw my vision and made it happen. And last but not least the staff!! WOW they all went above and beyond to make our day so special I cannot thank Ruth and the team
Enough. I just wish we could do it All again 🥰 -

Words cannot explain how amazing this venue is. The team at Allerton Manor are just the best. Ruth and John are fantastic and we have made friends for life . Lynn who works behind the bar is the best cocktail maker ever and she made sure we had our favourite mojitos ready after we got married . We are both so happy that we had our wedding with you and we will always be returning for the amazing food you serve at the old stable xxxxxx -
