since 1682, The Fox Pub has been a cornerstone of the local community. Before motor cars, the Fox served as the terminus of a horse-drawn bus service into London, run by the Davey family. Originally, the building had stables at the back. The present structure was built in 1904 and has since been a notable landmark, appearing in films and being named Enfield’s first community asset in 2015.
