The Forest is a large Victorian country home with 4 cottages set in a quiet peaceful rural location in Mid Wales. Opening in Spring 2026 we will offer unique weddings as an exclusive use venue. Initially in 2026 we will offer 10 bedrooms within the main house, once the cottages become available in 2027 there will be a further 10 bedrooms so around 40 guests will be able to stay. The Forest has always been a family home and we hope our guests will enjoy the 'home from home' atmosphere it offers.

For the ceremony choose from a romantic garden setting, a serene woodland backdrop, or the elegance of our house. We handle every detail so you can relax and enjoy your perfect day. With capacity for up to 100 guests, you can relax knowing everyone you love can celebrate together in comfort and style.

The dining room can be used for a night before dinner seating up to 20 adult guests while the children run and play around the house. The homely kitchen is a great place to have breakfast or cook for the wedding party prior to the special day. The sitting room is a comfortable room that looks out across the gardens where you can relax and contemplate the day ahead. There are many options for placing a marquee in the rear or front gardens.

The house offers plenty of comfortable accommodation for the wedding party. Stay in comfort in one of our ten elegant double rooms in the main house. We have a honeymoon suite with space and facilities for the bride to prepare for her special day. The wedding party can enjoy the rest of the house including a lovely big homely kitchen and comfortable large sitting room.

We have not taken any bookings yet so there will be plenty of availability for 2026 and 2027.
