The Exchange is a community-owned organization set in Erith's Old Library in South East London, England. This century-old library was established by the local community to provide a space to foster education and growth in the area. This classic red brick building has a legacy spanning generations and, in recent times, has offered a location for a range of community-led programs from craft production workshops and markets to performances and, of course, your wedding day! Revel in the historic beauty of this listed building and celebrate an unforgettable occasion within the lovingly restored walls of Erith's Old Library.

Facilities and Capacities

The Exchange presents the stunning elegance of the Carnegie Library for your magical wedding reception. This beautiful space boasts original cornicing, a brick accent wall, and plenty of natural light streaming in from the vast skylight. You can also choose to expand your celebration to the adjacent Mulberry Room and The North Room for an even more extravagant occasion. Here you can host a seated reception with 90 of your loved ones or a standing drinks reception. The Garden, carefully landscaped by award-winning designer Sarah Price, is also available for hire. From Mediterranean-inspired gardens to leafy greenhouses, this area offers an intimate spot for taking those all-important wedding photographs.
