The Belmont Hotel is a wedding venue situated in Leicester City Centre, Leicestershire. Established in the 1930s, this property has consistently upgraded its service while keeping its historic charm. The Belmont Hotel has three glorious event spaces that can play host to your special day.
The Rose Suite is the largest room at the hotel. Complete with luxurious wallpaper, fairy lights in the ceiling, and intimate lighting throughout, this suite oozes sophistication. The Rose Suite can seat up to 110 guests for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, as well as evening receptions of up to 200 people.
The May Suite is a smaller event space that can accommodate up to 50 guests. This area is ideal for wedding breakfast and intimate ceremonies. Featuring Victorian-style decor and a bar, this glamorous suite is great for tranquil festivities. The Rowan Suite is the smallest event space at The Belmont Hotel. With its chandeliers and bespoke decorations, this modern area makes for memorable breakfasts, banquets, and ceremonies of up to 40 people. Additional facilities include the outdoor terrace alongside New Walk, and the lovely Oval Park nearby which is perfect for photographs. You and your guests can sip on cocktails and watch the world go by from the terrace.
Accommodations
The hotel boasts 74 individually designed rooms with their guests' comfort and relaxation in mind. These modern rooms include all the amenities required for a good night’s sleep and stay. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, Wi-Fi, TVs, tea/coffee facilities, and more. Our Junior Suites are ideal for newlyweds couples with panoramic views of the New Walk, a coffee machine, mini fridges, dressing gowns & slippers and more. Other rooms include singles, classic doubles, superior doubles, family suites, twins, and executive doubles.

This includes bakers, photographers, entertainers, transportation, makeup artists, and more. With this recommended list, your planning process can become a little more stress-free. You are also welcome to work with other vendors and professionals if desired. The hotel also offer several wedding packages to best serve your big day. Their most comprehensive collection features welcome drinks, a three-course breakfast meal, unlimited house wine during the meal, champagne toasts, evening snacks, and more. The site’s head chef, Luke Gebski, has formulated a menu that is influenced by modern British and Italian classics. Luke and his team can cater to those with specific dietary requirements without sacrificing great taste.

We had previously booked another venue for our wedding, but saw a poster with their wedding packages on whilst attending a fair at The Belmont and couldn't believe what good value it was compared to what we already had booked. In fact, it was so good, that we lost our £500 deposit at the first venue, changed to The Belmont and still saved money!
It was definitely a blessing in disguise because we couldn't have hoped for a better venue for our wedding. Our wedding planner/co-ordinator, Caroline, was only ever a phone call or email away and always responded quickly and professionally. It was SO reassuring knowing that we could rely on her. In the lead up to the big day, everything was running so smoothly but on the day itself, we had a very unexpected problem - an evening guest had turned up at the ceremony! We had no meal or place setting for them! At the first opportunity we told Caroline what had happened and she was so calm and reassuring. She arranged for an extra table setting and a meal, complete with name card, which all just seemed to magically appear!
Every member of staff that we encountered at The Belmont was just lovely. We stayed there overnight and the next morning was my new husband's birthday and Caroline had written a card for him, which was a lovely, personal touch. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was all packed up ready for us to take home with us after our breakfast.
In short, the whole day was just how it should be - no stress, full of love, laughter and fun, and we are so grateful to The Belmont and to Caroline in particular for making our day so special.
