Sunday in Brooklyn is a wedding venue and restaurant in London that is inspired by the founders' favourite day of the week. With its cosy, stylish decor and warm, welcoming atmosphere, the venue is well-suited for small and large festivities. Paired with its thoughtful American-influenced menu, this setting is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Facilities and Capacity

Sunday in Brooklyn's Private Dining Room - The Union Room, which spans 160 square feet, is ideal for gatherings of up to 16 people. Couples with a longer guest list also have the option of booking our Brooklyn Parlour Room, located on the lower ground floor, the space can accommodate celebrations with 50 seated guests or 70 standing. In addition, there is a private bar, and the space may be arranged in a variety of ways. Buying out the whole restaurant allows for enough room for 120-150 guests.

The open-plan upstairs can fit up to 95 seated attendees and features vast natural light, a large event space, and a private bar. With multiple settings throughout the restaurant, couples can arrange to have different parts of their event take place in separate areas. For example, they and their loved ones can enjoy a sit-down dinner upstairs before moving to an after-party in the Brooklyn Parlour Room, for an evening to be remembered.

With our newly appointed Michelin-starred executive head chef, the culinary experience promises to be a treat! Additionally, you're welcome to personalise the experience with your own music and decorations should you wish.

Head chef and the team offer a range of carefully crafted cuisine for different styles of events. From brunches to sit-down dinners, the menus feature an array of thoughtful dishes and beverages sure to appease a range of appetites.

The team is also able to provide a dance floor, facilities for the DJ and live band, and more.

We work with our couples to create a memorable event and a stress free experience. Seamless orchestration from start to finish will minimize any nerves leading up to your special day - our events manager has got you covered!

Everything we hoped for and more!

Sunday in Brooklyn hosted our wedding party in mid November and we could not have been happier with everything they did for us. They went above and beyond and every step and gave us an evening that we will never forget. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering them as hosts for their occasion.

Ahead of the party the communication with their very friendly wedding coordinator was excellent with quick responses full of great advice. This included things like recommending amounts of food and drink to order, organising the timings of food to come out and lots more. When we went for our food tasting before hand, we were so happy with the quality of the food, we liked it all so much.

On the evening itself, the team and Sunday in Brooklyn managed everything so well that we were able to not worry about anything and enjoy our party. Any time we needed any kind of help there was someone by our side straight away with a smile on their face. We were really impressed with unexpected service including canapes being served by roaming waiters (rather than being placed on tables), uneaten food being boxed up for our guests to take home and much more. The food and drinks selections all went down very well and we've had loads of comments since from our guests saying how much fun they had.

A special shout out to Mya (our wedding coordinator), James (who looked after us for the food tasting) and Lucy (who was in charge on the party night itself) and of course the wider team. Thank you so much.

Perfect wedding reception venue! Highly recommend.

We had our wedding reception at Sunday in Brooklyn, Marylebone branch and it was truly perfect. The food, the private dining room, the location and especially the team were amazing! We originally booked the combined Bedford and Metropolitan room but due to a cancellation with another event, we were offered to upgrade to the dining room. The dining room is absolutely stunning, with such incredible detail already so we didn’t even need to bring many decorations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. All the staff were very helpful organising the event; we had so many questions and they were so attentive. Mackenzie, especially, was brilliant with her great communication and she really helped to bring our vision to life. We didn't have any vendors and did most of the decorations ourselves at home. We showed them exactly what we wanted and they kindly agreed to set up our decorations, which was so kind of them. When we arrived, the room was beautiful and it exceeded our expectations, they really went above and beyond. They did a fantastic job and are all truly professionals. We got married in December so we decided to go for the festive menu and everyone loved it and there was plenty! Every single team member was amazing and helped all our guests, always making them laugh and smile. The timings of all the courses were perfect and it felt like they truly wanted us all to have a great time. They packaged all our decorations for us to collect the next morning. We can't recommend this venue enough and 100% the dining room is the most gorgeous room for any kind of event. We will upload photos once we have received them from our photographer.

Exceptional Wedding Reception

Genuinely exceeded our expectations across the board, which makes singling our specifics tricky. Firstly the venue is great, spacious, and beautiful. Once diners are in, it has a great feel to it and all guests commented on this. It was great to have a separate dining room and dancefloor (downstairs) to split up the event. The food offering is excellent, it genuinely feels more like a restaurant experience rather than a wedding caterer type affair (which can often be a little copy and paste). Again, lots of positive feedback from our guests who wouldn't be shy to complain. The level of support from both our event manager, and the team on the day was exceptional, from management right down to waiting staff, they were full of smiles, and were eager to assist in whatever way they could.
Having done fairly extensive research at venues of similar size (our wedding was around 90 guests) i can say Sundays in Brooklyn was amazing value, I commented to our event manager, if i could do it all again, i would 100% repeat the process with them (without any doubt) .

Best reception, best food, best service!

SiB are a premium destination for a wedding reception, simple as that! From the event planning (including the best tasting sessions), to the incredible food, to the flawless service on the day, we were actually blown away! Every guest has told us since, unprompted, that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding and that the whole experience at SiB was a huge factor in making our special day so unforgettable.
