We had the most incredible wedding day on 28.03.24. Despite storm Nelson, the event coordinator Mel was extremely helpful and attentive. The food was amazing. Just the perfect venue for us and were so pleased we chose to have it there ❤️

I have visited Stanlake Park on numerous occasions to help my brides with their bridal makeup preparations. I'm always welcomed by the most friendly staff who cannot do enough for the bride on the morning of the wedding! The venue is stunning, the bridal space is perfect (The Bow Loft), a great space for all things makeup and hair with an upstairs space to get excited with the girls and get into dresses. Stanlake Park Wine Estate is a beautiful venue for weddings in Berkshire. We recently got married at Stanlake Park in July 2023 and we LOVED every second of our wedding day!

The Heritage Venues operations and events team were so professional and helpful in planning our special day. On the day of our wedding, the event manager and team managed everything and ensured the day ran smoothly and to plan. The food was amazing and we loved celebrating with a selection of the Stanlake Park wines!!

He wanted a venue with history, she wanted a venue full of natural light, they both love wine and therefore Stanlake Park was chosen. This venue provides a stunning backdrop, from the beautiful bridal getting ready area, to the brickwork in the ceremony barn to the incredible vineyards themselves so all we had to do as a couple was think about what decorations we wanted to add to provide a personal touch.

Beautiful venue and friendly, helpful staff. The events team on the day led by Annabel were superb and in the run up to our wedding, Joanne was always on hand to help with any queries.

Our guests loved the venue and several also said it was the best food they had eaten at a wedding.

Absolutely recommend Stanlake to anyone looking to get married!

We had so many compliments on the venue. The Bow Loft was perfect for getting ready and staff were incredibly helpful in making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. Both barns provided ample space and the venue accommodated for our outdoor ceremony and lawn games. We had a small hiccup with food after a miscommunication but the venue were quick to sort it out and ensure that we got our dream day. Only small issue with the venue is there is not accommodation for guests and whilst there is plenty in the surrounding area, ensure your guests prebook their cabs to their venues as cabs were booked out on the night and guests had to wait approx an hour to leave.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Stanlake Park in February 2022. The day exceeded our expectations in all areas, and we had a wonderful time. Many of our guests remarked how helpful the staff were, how delicious the food was and what a beautiful venue it was.

A massive thank you to Alys, Helen, Donna and the rest of the team for all their help through planning and for a fabulous execution on the day.

Stanlake was not only a beautiful place but the staff were great from beginning to end. We had our previous wedding cancelled and changed twice as it was meant to be abroad. I emailed stanlake last minute ( 2am in the morning to be exact) and from 7.45am the following day until our wedding day they were great. They were really accommodating and helpful as we only had 23 days to start again. It is completely dry hire as most English weddings but they were super flexible in accommodating certain drinks and food. They have a great list of suppliers who were all really great as well. Everyone had good communication which was super helpful being only 23 days away. Styling is expensive as there is a lot to consider but the great thing about stanlake is the barn it’s self doesn’t need much to make it look nice as it’s a great setting in itself. It’s a lovely setting for a wedding and even has a cute bridal cottage style area you can use on the day. I would highly recommend stanlake park to any bride that wants a stress free intimate wedding.

I've photographed weddings at Stanlake Park and I've always found the variety of the grounds and the different spaces serve as excellent backdrops for the photos I take.

That and the smooth running of timings without stress and the wedding guests can relax in the colourful surroundings really adds to the day and shines really well on the couple.

It's an amazing place for a wedding at all times of the year!

We were sold on the venue after visiting the vineyard for a tasting (note: the wedding venue is an entirely different company from the winery). I will run out of characters to list every issue we had, but be cautious if you think this is the venue for you. I will always look back fondly on the day but I lost count of how many times I regretted choosing this venue as I felt they added a lot of stress and were difficult to deal with. We left it a few months to write this review to reflect but also in the genuine hope that the venue would contact us for feedback (I burst into tears at our final planning meeting) but we got nothing from them, so here we are. Our headline issues:

• Food tasting was disappointing. You will taste the cheaper options so it will likely be not much use at all if you want the higher end options/ the steak platters that we wanted. I was left underwhelmed (and food was a bit cold). I should stress our food was excellent on the day, but the venue asked that when we said we weren’t happy that we pay (£75) to re-do our tasting when we fed back we were underwhelmed and we got quite an unhelpful and rude email from the director rather than any genuine customer service. If you go for Stanlake, be prepared that the head chef advertised works out of the other venue and is rarely (never) at Stanlake.
• We dealt with at least three different people in the run up to our wedding and felt passed around. Our final planner was good (Julia), but we met her very late in the process for our final planning meeting. You will be unlikely to have a dedicated person which added a bit of stress for us. The lady who ran our day was a contractor (Nicole) and excellent but we wouldn’t have met her but we insisted on a call beforehand. We generally felt like we were passed around the houses a lot.
• We found out on our final meeting we had to hire in the long tables (that are suitable for use without a table cloth). This was a surprise as we were told the tables were included and these hired tables are all over their marketing materials and website without disclaimer that these are extra. These cost circa £600.The venue only gave us £200 towards the cost of these in drinks credit.
• Any additional touches we wanted to bring were met with resistance at every turn.
• Whilst not the venue (and instead the vineyard who your venue hire contract is with), watch out for the clause that states something along the lines of “we can cancel your date and we may offer you an alternative date and we do not have to give you a refund”. We got this changed – we were paying a premium for a Saturday in May and in the event something caused them to cancel, we wanted the money back from them.

Absolutely stunning venue, fantastic wine, delicious food and great service. Friends and family raves about the venue and the day as a whole. And the venue were very accommodating when we had to add our ceremony.

We had the most amazing wedding day at Stanlake thanks to Heritage Venues. The venue itself is beautiful and our wedding was everything we could have wished for and more. The Heritage team were so helpful, kind and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They made the planning stages easy, stress free and exciting.

On the day we knew we could relax and just enjoy our day as the events team sorted everything for us. We couldn't recommend Heritage Venues and Stanlake Park more!!

All of our guests said they had the best time at our wedding, and we had so many complements on the food. The catering team offer so much choice for the wedding breakfast and the tasting evening at the venue was one of the best evenings we've had. It was so much fun trying the menu and meeting other couples at the venue.

Overall we had the best day of our lives at Stanlake Park!
