We were lucky enough to have Thicket Priory exclusively for the entire weekend—two nights with 70 of our closest family and friends staying on site—and it was, without question, the most incredible wedding venue we could ever have imagined.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—elegant, atmospheric, and full of character—yet it also feels warm, welcoming, and completely yours for the weekend. It truly felt like home, but a fairytale version.
The staff deserve endless praise. Every single person was friendly, kind, and unbelievably helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the attention to detail was outstanding. You could genuinely feel how much they care about making your wedding perfect. A special mention has to go to Anna, our wedding coordinator, who was nothing short of sensational. From the build-up to the big day itself, she was calm, organised, reassuring, and completely on it. We honestly could not have done it without her—she made everything seamless and stress-free, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment.
Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how incredible the venue was. The on-site chapel was a huge selling point for us—especially for our December wedding, as no one had to step outside or worry about the weather. Everything flowed beautifully, and the entire weekend felt magical from start to finish.
If you are even considering Thicket Priory—book it. You will not regret it. We genuinely wish we could do it all over again.

Where do we even begin!
From arranging our first viewing with Lil and driving up the grand driveway into Thicket Priory, we knew it was the venue for us.
We cannot recommend enough choosing Thicket Priory for your wedding. If you're lucky enough to have Lil as your co-ordinator, you'll be in the very best hands. From the planning stages right through to the wedding day itself, she ensured everything ran seamlessly. Her organisation, attention to detail and calm and reassuring nature meant we could relax and enjoy every moment. She is truly amazing, and we owe so much to her for helping us have one of the best days of our lives!!
We booked Thicket Priory for the entire weekend (Friday-Sunday) and I would highly recommend doing the same! The whole team were on hand throughout the weekend to help with anything our guests or we needed, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful it was.
A huge thank you to the Thicket Priory team but a special shoutout to Lil for making our wedding weekend everything we dreamed it would be and more. It was simply perfect, and we're already counting down the days until we can come back to renew our vows!

If you are considering Thicket Priory, stop considering and book it. You will not regret your decision for one second. An absolutely beautiful team, supported by a wonderful, friendly and truly supportive team. We had the privelege of being looked after by Becks and beyond being fantastic at her job, she was at her core just a lovely, warm person who made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. The grounds and building are stunning, making for amazing and varied segments to your weekend. We had reception drinks on the veranda, breakfast in the pantry, evening food in the courtyard and our ceremony in the little ampitheatre by the lake. There are very few venues which can offer such diversity under one roof. I would recommend with every fibre of my being! 100/10. -

From the very first phone call we had with Thicket, they have just been the most incredible team. We had a perfect wedding weekend in May, which was complete with the loveliest, kindest team you could imagine. Every single member of the Thicket team were amazing and made everything feel so so special. We were super lucky to have Becks as our Wedding Coordinator. Becks guided us through the whole planning process seamlessly with many laughs along the way. She gave us so much care and guidance and truly went the extra mile to ensure our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of. She is truly amazing and we cannot thank her enough. Becca and Liv were just fabulous too. Becca made all the bridal suite prep feel completely easy and Liv was wonderful. Liv made me and my bridesmaids feel SO comfortable and looked out for us all day long.
The venue itself is just outstanding - no picture will ever do it justice and each time you go, there’s something else to take in.
A truly unforgettable wedding weekend and we’re forever grateful to the team for making it happen ❤️ -

What an unbelievable venue! Thicket Priory was the venue for our wedding in April and honestly it was the such a special place to get married…the chapel, ballroom, grounds, & accommodation offered so much for us with numbers in excess of 100 guests. We also stayed the night before our wedding, making the most of an exceptional venue. Additionally, the staff were all amazing in ensuring every guest had the best day possible. Becks was our wedding planner and we cannot stress how brilliant she was in ensuring everything went to plan. She was so attentive from our first meeting and made it an easy decision to choose Thicket Priory with it being the only place we could see ourselves getting married.
The biggest compliment we can pay is to say that so many guests commented on the venue, saying how stunning it was. We were blessed with great weather but we are certain that even without this, the day would have still been just as good.
Words can’t do justice to how good the day was but one thing is for sure…we will never regret having our wedding at Thicket Priory.

5 Stars - Thicket Priory is a phenomenal place to get married. The venue itself is stunning; the building and the grounds are gorgeous. It succeeds at being elegant and grand without a hint of pretentiousness or ostentation.
The team at Thicket are second to none. The care and attention to detail they took made our weekend feel all the more special. We really appreciated their recommended suppliers selection, and the care they had taken to curate this list. It made our experience planning even easier.
Special thanks to Anna for making us feel incredibly comfortable and supported for the 12 months prior, and from all our guest who mentioned how excellent she was. We wish we could do it all again!
