We can't even put into words how fantastic the team at Bowers Mill were in coordinating and executing our wedding.
Bowers Mill was the first (and last) venue we looked at in our search for where to have our wedding. From the first glance we had at on their website, we knew that this was the perfect venue. Seeing it in-person confirmed this for us - I admit, we both teared up when we both first saw it.
We had the pleasure of working with Hannah in planning our wedding. She was incredibly friendly and proactive in the planning stage, and we enjoyed meeting with her at several points in the lead-up to the big day. We discussed many adjustments that were required, such as alcohol-free, dietary requirements, and children's meals, and all of these were accommodated.
After seeing the many decorations that they had to offer, our simple request was "make it pretty", which they executed to a high standard. Many guests commented how gorgeous the venue was; from the outside patio, to the spacious breakfast and reception area, to the intimate and rustic ceremony room.
Not only did they ensure that the venue looked beautiful, but the day ran smoothly and without any issues. Everything ran to time and to a high quality and standard. One of our guests even had to ask if we had rehearsed the entire day with the venue since it ran so seamlessly!
I'm sure that many engaged couples, when looking for their perfect wedding venue, will also be thinking about costs. Unlike other venues, there are no hidden costs. The quote we originally received in September 2023 remained the same all the way through until our wedding day. No extra costs for decorations or cutlery; what you see is what you get. We believe that we received incredible value for the money we paid!
If you are thinking about booking this venue, we cannot recommend it enough! The team work so hard that you don't need to stress about the small details; you can actually enjoy your wedding day as you should.

The staff at The Venue were beyond exceptional! They made our wedding day absolutely perfect. The day ran so smooth thanks to all the wonderful people working that day, shout-out to Lydia for being so amazing! The whole day looked absolutely stunning and gorgeous! I would recommend this venue to everyone! -

Amazing venue!
Words will never do this incredible venue justice. It was the only the second venue we viewed but as soon as we saw it we knew it was the place we wanted to be married and cancelled any other viewings at other venues. From the moment we walked in the door to view to our wedding day we couldn’t have asked any more from the staff. Our coordinator Lucy was amazing and every question and email was dealt with quickly and nothing was ever too much trouble. We visited the venue on each open day they had and loved it more and more and more each time! We have had so many compliments about how lovely the venue and staff were on our wedding day and would highly recommend The Venue! -

We got married here on Saturday 23rd August 2025 and had a wedding that truly exceeded all our expectations. From the very beginning, the communication and organisation with the team were first class — nothing was ever too much trouble and every query was handled with care and professionalism.
On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly, exactly as we had imagined down to the finest details. The running order went perfectly to plan, which allowed us to relax and just enjoy every moment. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue looked, how polite and attentive the staff were, and — most importantly — how absolutely delicious the food was.
The food options were outstanding, and one of the highlights of the day. We decided to go for sharing boards rather than the traditional three-course meal, but we also had a taster of both during our planning. Both options were utterly delicious, and the wide variety of dishes gave us the chance to really personalise our wedding breakfast to our own tastes. Guests loved the choice and the quality was exceptional throughout.
A special mention must go to our wedding coordinator Lydia, who was simply outstanding. She had everything prepared, was always on hand if needed, and kept the whole day flowing effortlessly in the background. Her calm, organised approach meant we never had to worry about a thing.
If we could do it all again, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose this venue. We can’t thank the team enough for giving us the most unforgettable and magical day. -

Wedding Review May 2025
What an amazing day we had! Everything ran so smoothly and was everything we had dreamed of and more. From the beautiful rustic and unique venue, the friendly and helpful staff, and the amazing food.
From viewing the venue, we fell in love with it and knew we had to get married there, we booked it there and then. Nothing was too much trouble, everything we asked for was done. I felt settled and had no stress or worries about the venue and everything that went with it.
Hannah was our amazing wedding coordinator and was present throughout our special day to ensure it went perfectly. Even when being roped in to role playing last minute with the undercover waiters and being a sport!!
We would recommend 100% and would do it all again in a heartbeat! Thank you for being a part of it ❤️ -

We had our wedding at The Venue last week and honestly it was incredible. The Venue team couldn’t have done enough for us. Lydia was our wedding coordinator on the day and she was amazing, so calm and efficient, nothing was too much. The Venue is stunning and all the staff were so friendly. I wish we could relive our wedding day every year at The Venue! The food was outstanding and everything was reasonably priced. Thank you so much to The Venue for making our day so special 🤍 -

We had our wedding at The Venue on Friday 8th August and it couldn’t have been a better day.
All of the staff were fantastic, but Hannah, in particular, was just incredible. We genuinely didn’t want for anything, and anything we needed was provided immediately. Both of our families commented on her organisation and control of the day and we cannot thank her enough.
As two nervous brides we were made to feel calm and really, really special as soon as we arrived (from the moment we came to look around, to be honest!).
We’ve had nothing but compliments on choosing such an amazing venue as well as how dreamy the food was. And it really was.

We had our special day at The Venue on 19th July and we can't thank them enough! From the second we walked in to view it in December 2023, we knew it was the one. Every single member of staff is so attentive and compassionate towards you and really do everything they can to make your special day exactly what you want! Myself and my husband would like to specially say a huge thank you to Hannah, our wedding coordinator! From our first meeting with her, she put us at ease and really guided us with what we needed to do and so forth. On the day, she was always on hand to offer support to both ourselves and our guests and she really went our of her way to ensure our day ran smoothly!
We really couldn't speak highly enough of the Venue, they made our wedding day the best day ever!
