The level of service we received from going in to talk about booking a wedding until after the wedding was outstanding the commutation from the venue was very prompt and if Helen the wedding coordinator was off work we would receive an email stating when she would be back and as soon as she was back we got a response. There is different packages to suit every budget the wedding day everything went to plan everything we wanted doing or changing the staff were amazing at doing it straight away and the venue is just absolutely beautifulThe Royal Hotel Scarborough's reply:

Wedding reception 2024
We had our wedding reception at the Royal and the service was amazing. Everything was perfect and the staff went above and beyond. Helen the organiser couldn't be more helpful and made sure everything was spot on. Absolutely recommend having a reception and even ceremony here. They're so efficient and the hotel is stunning. Especially as we had a winter wedding, the decorations were amazing too. Thank you so much again to the team and we will definitely be back to stay. -

GENUINE REVIEW
honestly if I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Everything from the food to the price was astounding. Our wedding coordinator (Helen) who works for the hotel, was beyond fantastic. She helped us every step of the way and dealt with every single request we had without any issue or hesitation. She honestly made us and our wedding feel like the only one she's ever done! The whole experience working with the hotel to the big day itself was nothing other than perfection. All of the stresses that could have come from wedding planning and organising etc just went out of the window when we started working with this hotel. For reference our wedding was 24/04/2024 and we had about 30 guests. We held our ceremony and reception there and I couldn't be more glad. It was affordable and looked like we had paid 10s of thousands. We chose to buy our own decor as i was very parricular about how I wanted our aesthetics to be, but i could have chosen to rent decor from the hotel at an affordable extra cost. Despite buying the decor myself, the staff helped to arrange them and decorate with me which saved a lot of time and stress. I genuinely can't thank them all enough for making our day perfect.The Royal Hotel Scarborough's reply:

From the moment I went to ask about booking a wedding till the actual day helen was amazing nothing was any trouble. She really went above and beyond for us and made are day so special and run with out any hitch’s. The venue is self looked amazing and was even better than we could imagine. Helen the wedding co-ordinater was fantastic and helped us throughout planning of our wedding at The Royal. No job was too small and she even put our wedding cake together on the morning of the wedding so we could have time for some fresh air! Her and her team on the day we're so helpful and made everything go smoothly to make our day so special. The ceremony room and ballroom were just beautiful and looked amazing at Christmas time. The honeymoon suite was spacious and perfect. The Royal Hotel is an old regency style hotel so does have some quirks but that's what we liked about it.
