The Osborne Hotel wedding
The Osborne Hotel in Torquay was an amazing wedding venue for our reception. Haidee our wedding coordinator was calm, confident, well organised and took everything in her stride. The team were so flexible and took all our requests on board. We had the best wedding day, despite some heavy rain on the day we had our wedding reception moved to inside seamlessly, the space we had was perfect for our number of guests (approx 75). We opted for BBQ buffet, the food was excellent, catered for veggies, gluten free and any allergies for our guests. All the staff were so friendly on the day and everything ran so smoothly we didn’t have to worry about any small details. Our coordinator even took up some cake for us with strawberries into the honeymoon suite for later in the evening and made sure we had some time together on the terrace to soak in the day. Their list of suppliers when planning was also so helpful and kept us on track
I cannot recommend the Osborne enough for your wedding -

From the moment we arrived, the hotel looked absolutely beautiful, providing the perfect setting for one of the most important days of our lives. Every detail helped create a wonderful atmosphere that we and our guests will remember for years to come.
A special thank you to all of the staff, who were truly outstanding throughout the entire day. Their professionalism, kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond ensured everything ran smoothly and allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment.
We are so grateful for all the hard work and care that went into making our wedding day unforgettable. Thank you for helping create such amazing memories—we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or a more dedicated team.

Haidee made our wedding planning go so smoothly. From the moment we met her we had our heart set on The Osborne Hotel to be our wedding reception location. Haidee made everything seamless from start to finish. Without her we honestly don’t think we could’ve handled the stress planning weddings can cause. Fantastic Hotel!
The Osborne Hotel team are fantastic! The attention to detail is impeccable. Our day ran without a hitch all thanks to the work and dedication behind the scenes. They were always on hand if we needed anything, no matter how small. Questions repeatedly answered. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly highly recommend for your big day! -

Our Wedding 11/10/2025
We just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the incredible staff at The Osborne Hotel. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect and that’s all thanks to the most hardworking and caring team! Haidee and the rest of the team are genuinely the nicest bunch of people you’d ever hope to come across, nothing was too much of an ask and they could not have been more welcoming or accommodating.
We felt that we were in such safe hands in the run up to our wedding. Any and all questions (no matter how daft) were answered with the utmost care and respect. They were also super knowledgeable about local vendors and were more than happy to recommend other small businesses.
The day itself went perfectly. The food was exceptional! We’ve had so many family members say they will be returning as hotel guests from now on. The bar staff were so friendly and felt like part of the party!
The location itself is beautiful. We were blessed with good weather on the day, so we could say our vows outdoors overlooking the bay. Something we’ve dreamed of for so long. Our photographer really enjoyed the quick access to Meadfoot Beach for some fun seaside photos on the evening!
Once again, thank you so so much to all of you. We will always be greatful to The Osborne Hotel for making our wedding day so perfect.

Fantastic day! Haidee was incredible at getting everything arranged and sorted for us! Start to finish, everything was well led, bedroom was huge, perfect for getting ready!
