Incredible venue!

We had the most amazing time getting married at The Old Mill. The venue itself is gorgeous along with the surrounding grounds. Our whole day went smoothly with Esther our coordinator and the rest of the team. We would highly recommend this venue to other couples for their wedding!

The best venue and team we could have asked for

Wow wow wow! We booked The Old Mill over 2 years ago and were shown round by Lauren. We got married on 22nd August 2025 and had the BEST DAY EVER. The venue is family owned and has a team of wedding specialists who run the weddings. The venue had been upgraded significantly in the time since we booked and they are always looking for improvements. Some amazing ones to come! The venue was even better than expected and The Wed Shed decorating was INCREDIBLE.

Lauren, our wedding coordinator was incredible. She stayed with us from booking, all the way through to the day. She knows the venue inside out, was so personable, cared a lot about our day and even made some amazing recommendations (definitely go for fireworks). She made us feel so at ease on the day and it couldn’t have gone any better.

We are SO grateful for the venue and the team for making our day one of the best days ever. Thank you so so much! I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

Gorgeous Venue, Fabulous Staff

Lauren and the team at the Old Mill were fantastic from our inital meeting to the wedding day and afterwards trying to coordinate things that had been left behind! Nothing is too big or too small, and they really focus on the little details, down to Lauren making and testing our family recipe rum ounch for us on the wedding morning.
For the venue and service you recieve i think this is excellent value for money and it is so nice to know that you are supporting a small, family run business.

What an Amazing Day!

Julia and I were married here on Wed 18 Jun 25 and oh my, what a fantastic day we had!
Lauren - our Wedding Venue organiser - was tremendous. She took away any stresses, worries and made us feel relaxed and very special (on the day and in the planning). The Conservatory was beautifully decorated, as was the Wedding Breakfast area. A truly stunning location. Everything was organised right down to the finest detail and we just cannot thank Lauren enough for looking after us last month :)

Gorgeous Venue

We coordinated with Esther for our wedding, and she did a wonderful job making sure that everything ran smoothly. There were some refurbishments and changes to the venue in between our booking and the event that really improved the already lovely space. There are a lot of lovely spots for photography. The getting ready space is perfect, the only addition we would make would be some more light and heating, but this is not a big issue. We adored the venue and agree that we made 100% the best choice possible.

We coordinated with Esther for our wedding, and she did a wonderful job making sure that everything ran smoothly. Our dream wedding!

We had the most incredible experience at our wedding venue and can’t thank the team enough for making our day so special. From the very beginning, their communication and support throughout the planning process were exceptional. They were so organised, friendlyu, and always on hand to help with any questions—we felt truly supported every step of the way.

On the day itself, Lauren, our coordinator, was absolutely amazing. I was feeling nervous that morning, but her calm and reassuring presence made all the difference. She had thought of everything, which meant we could relax and just enjoy our day knowing we were in safe hands.

The venue had such a warm, personable feel with a genuine sense of care from everyone involved. It was incredibly well-organised and felt like being looked after by family. In the evening, Ester took over and was equally wonderful—so helpful in making sure everything was packed up and taken care of smoothly.

The setting was absolutely breathtaking. The river and outdoor area were beautiful, especially for our March wedding, and the magnolia tree in bloom added a magical touch. Inside, the dining and bar areas were the perfect size, and the conservatory with its flowered ceiling and stunning views was a real showstopper.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team. Thank you all so much for helping to make our wedding unforgettable!!

The best day of our lives!

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our special day. Lauren from the Old Mill was unbelievable throughout our entire planning process and on the day helped everything go ahead without a hitch! The rest of the staff were also an absolute pleasure including DJ Edd in the evening and the bar staff. The venue was the perfect size for our day and there was nothing better than being on their new patio on a summer's day!

A truly magical place for our wedding

As soon as we pulled up for our first viewing of the Old Mill as our wedding venue we knew this is it. And we couldn’t have picked any better. The setting, building and surroundings make for a perfect wedding day in a rustic most charming environment. This paired with the amazing staff led us to having the most magical wedding day. From planning, answering all our questions through out, proactively supporting us with all the details to the smooth running of our wedding day it has been nothing short of perfect!

The Wedding of Our Dreams❤️

We got married in May and it was one of the best days of our lives. When we set our eyes on the Old Mill, it was a cold, bright February day. No leaves on the trees and the flowers haven’t bloomed yet. But it still took our breath away. I remember thinking, “If it looked this lovely in February, imagine what it would like in May.” And it was the best decision we ever made.
The Old Mill has a lawn area, the perfect spot for our marquee. The Mill Room and bar area are spacious and full of possibilities. But it was the Conservatory that really sealed the deal for us. Having gone a recent refurb, the area is even more gorgeous than before!
The team at the Old Mill were so supportive and always helpful when we had questions! Lauren has charm and we were so glad to have her be there to guide us through the day. The Old Mill has connections with their own recommended vendors, which made the process of planning a wedding that much easier.
Our guests had a fabulous time and raved about how beautiful the venue was. We honestly couldn’t have done this without everyone at The Old Mill. Thank you for helping us bring the wedding of our dreams to life!!

Amazing venue!

My partner and I had our wedding here in June 2023, and wow! We cannot thank Chris and the team at the Old Mill enough. Everything about our day ran so smoothly and the team at the Old Mill were amazing. Our guests, as well as ourselves absolutely loved it there, and cannot recommend it enough to couples!
