It’s so hard to write all that I want to say! From the moment I decided on Ladore Falls being the venue we would marry I didn’t regret it! Nicolle, Michaela & Monique couldn’t do enough for us, it was quite obvious they have done lots of weddings as nothing was to much trouble. They were all so friendly and each one of them knew what was going on with the planning so I didn’t have to keep repeating myself. People kept asking me if the wedding planning was stressful and I can honestly say it wasn’t! If I ever felt overwhelmed the girls would help, it was great that they know so many suppliers and it helps keep your mind at ease when handing over deposits! Although they had many weddings on they made me feel like my wedding was the only wedding that year haha! I literally felt like I was really special and not just another bride getting married at their venue. We were lucky with the weather so had lots of pictures taken on location but also the pictures at LaDore Falls were stunning, the Christmas lights were stunning and the beautiful new decor is gorgeous! After our wedding day we spent much of the day in the spa and I had a luxurious 2 hour spa treatment, also organised by the wedding team. We knew we wanted Lodore falls as our wedding venue before we even got engaged, but we couldn’t have imagined how amazing it would be! From the moment we enquired, to the day they have been amazing, there for us through anything we needed and nothing we asked for was a problem. They helped the day run so smoothly and they couldn’t have been more helpful! The space was perfect and they honestly work so hard to give you the day of your dreams. The wedding team are incredible and I can’t say I’ve ever heard of anyone else’s team doing as much as these guys did for us !

No better wedding venue!
Where do I even start with how amazing Lodore falls was from start to finish when planning our wedding. From the very first visit to leaving as husband and wife we felt so at home and cared for by all of the team and hotel staff too.
The team are very responsive and go the extra mile to understand what you want from your day and do everything they can to accommodate.
The whole stay around our wedding was stunning and the day itself was perfect, even when I forgot a guest book and our flowers for the mothers were late, they always had a solution.

In late 2023, my fiancée and I decided to get married and have a non-religious service in the Lake District as we had holidayed there several times and loved the scenery and general vibe.
Over the course of a few weeks, we drew up a shortlist of potential venues and left home in South West London to check them out.
The first location we visited was The Lodore Falls Hotel and Spa. The lovely greeting we received from the wedding team, along with the tour of the potential function rooms, bridal suites and beautiful hotel grounds led us to confirm a date there and then, and not even bother checking out the other locations on the shortlist, knowing that the venue and location were absolutely perfect for what we wanted.
From that first day until our wedding day in September 2024, the ongoing communication with the team was incredible - with just that perfect level of professionalism and friendliness.
The flexibility of being able to bring some of our own food and beverage, plus booking separate rooms for the bride and groom on the day before the wedding and then moving rooms during the wedding day (all done by the in-house team), made life very easy for us.
The wedding day itself was absolutely perfect, and not just because of the mini heatwave experienced in the area that week! The room design, plus food and bar service were exceptional - and that’s from a very picky groom who works in events management.
The amazing weather meant being able to have an outdoor ceremony next to the pagoda in the grounds of the hotel, overlooking Derwent Water, which added to the magic.
We genuinely couldn’t have dreamt of a better day. -

An Absolute Dream Wedding Day at Lodore Falls
We had the absolute pleasure of getting married here on the 10th of August this year, and we cannot express enough how incredible the day was! A huge thank you to the amazing wedding team – Nicolle, Michaela, and Monique – for making everything so seamless from start to finish.
The venue itself is simply stunning, and every detail was taken care of to perfection. The day was truly flawless – we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Even the little things we weren’t sure about or didn’t know how they’d pan out were handled so brilliantly by the team, making the day even more special than we could have imagined.
The food was exceptional, the rooms were beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the dancefloor and evening food were just perfect. Everything was handled with such care and attention to detail. It was genuinely the best day of our lives.
We’ve always loved this venue, but seeing it come to life for our wedding was beyond anything we could have hoped for. We’re already looking forward to coming back to celebrate future anniversaries here! Thank you for giving us memories we will cherish forever. 💕

Absolutely amazing I couldn’t fault them! Even down to giving me a plaster half way through the day.
I had so many comments about the venue, the food was amazing, I was looked after the whole day.
